M79 is a legitimate weapon of the original BFV game. It's not an exploit.

You accuse Pinky of crying and crying, and yet you are constantly crying about people using M79.

You just don't like the M79 because people without sharp shooting skills like Pinky, Nagi, and me can fight back and kill you and send you 30 feet in the air. M79 is a lot of fun. Y should try it.

the first statement is true, M79 is a legitimate weapon of the original bfv game.
the "exploit" part comes in the form of removing friendly fire and splash damage so that the M79r can run around and fire the weapon at his or her feet and incur no bodily harm to him/herself, BUT kills the person on the opposing team. That is exploiting the game and molding it into something that it wasnt intended for and we all know should be removed.
I am all for the use of ALL weapons Al Gore, I strongly believe people should Not be allowed to blow up their own feet and receive 0 bodily harm.

How this is not considered cheating, i do not know.
I know admins will say "its not cheating because it is an option available inside the game"
Regardless of that Option, and although it is not 3rd party software, it is Still cheating. One way or another, it is still cheating.

bro, this is a game
swim for a kilometer with a grenade launcher or mortar and then shoot when you come ashore? drive at full speed, crash into an obstacle and continue driving? how about getting into a plane or helicopter on the fly? all these things are not particularly real either. this is just what came to my mind right away

All I'm seeing here is a lot of childish behavior from multiple sides, and it's making me not want to play with any of the people involved. It also makes me regret saying in a previous thread that "we've mostly got a good group here" because clearly I was wrong. If you want to lay blame on people for scaring/pushing away other players, I suggest you might as well form a circular firing squad and blast away at each other, because at this point it's looking like you're all to blame in one way or another. This BS drama is going to push away more players than any rule change will. I'm on the verge of that myself. Maybe it's time for this thread to be locked if people can't have a mature discussion without throwing insults.

Edit: To be clear, I typed this while LTShaun was typing his post above, and posted it after he did. I'd like to second what he said.

The other day, I used the admin! command and MIR came right in. Ended up banning some clown who was evading their ban. I will continue to use that in the future to help. Thank you.
