I am working on ingame admin fore alle maps and the privet server. 1 it is esay. 2 we maybe can make it so ppl can kick and ban whit out giving them any controle over the server. This way we can get more admin and servers will still be save.

That language is fine when you are saying short things, but in a forum that texts makes it very hard to understand what your trying to say.

You all got a point in your arguments, but in the same time you get stuck in your generalization of helloclan.
Were now aiming to make the HelloClan website itself, a social website for mainly people gaming, but anyone who want can register.
The http://forum.helloclan.eu equals your main "helloclan" not "clan" page. The community page equals a forum, with more boards being added.
(Booth of these are not the "Clan", so dont get tricked by the name Hello"Clan". You will find there's a page on the forum called -[HELLO]-"Clan" Gaming. Thats the forum for the clan, the website for the clan in bfv (which will soon be connected to the chat,wall and your account here), is http://forum.helloclan.eu/bfv . So don't worry, the "Clan" itself will remain in the same scale as it has always been. There is people putting effort into bfv, bf2, etc. But the helloclan administration will work alot on the Website, not being affiliated with the gaming servers or clan.
So for this website we stay with the name Helloclan, seems pretty relevant for a social website for gamers, am i right?

Now on this topic, there is no need to fight about things. Your right this is not a government forum, so spelling right is not required for any members(Although it brings a sense of respect if you spell things right). But!, Being able to spell right is a must for helloclan admins and moderators. Its not a catastrofe if you spell words wrong. On the bfv server we can kind of allow "gaming language/1337 language". But on the website we want all the moderators to speak correctly. And they all do right now.
The admin spot that we will give on the gaming server requires a good sense of when you should warn,kick,ban. It requires someone who is good of reading the situation and doing the best of it.

Example: Someone says, you suck Lost!, and lost tells him to fuck of and bans him. (This would take his admin), the spot will be given to someone who know what to do. Which is the same reason we still got pilots flying planes, even though computers could do it.

This thread is about choosing an admin but it has since become a thread where you can all argue about each others personal characteristics which, although relevant to an admin, is not what this topic is for.

Um, so if personal characteristics do have some sort of relevance for an administrator, and if choosing an administrator is what this thread is about, then why aren't personal characteristics not relevant for this topic?

Anyhoo, you clearly didn't read a previous thread, viewtopic.php?f=36&t=460, where arguments broke-out about Lost wanting to be an administrator.

Byrd shouldnt have gone a little off topic... but byrd will say one last thing. Kurk it seems you are trying to norrow down the possible admins to just you, which is very selfish (if this is wrong or right dont say anything under this topic). The regulations for admin are ultimately decided by one person, and one person only: TEDDE. It is not up to you, byrd, frag, zzero, or lost, ect..., to decide what the qualifications are to be admin. Therefore the disscussion on what the qualifations should be should end HERE, or be moved to a different topic. This as travaco said: you should only post to support one and nominate an applyee, not to insult one who you do not, or say why they shouldnt be one. If you dont think they should be an admin just dont say anything, because in reality that not considered supporting, and it does get everyone fighting with eachother. So everyplease listen to the admins!!!!!!!!!

First off: I do NOT want admin. Where are you people getting this idea? Secondly, how am I supposed to express my opinion on an admin. The moderators say this is community, so why can't I say things against the person I don't want governing me? Am I supposed to just let them be elected and deal with it, or should I say what I find wrong about them so others can use it? I don't think I have slandered anyone, so am I in the Wrong?

kurk if you dont want them admin dont say anthing! its the same as them not getting a vote and for petes shake listen to the admins AND STAY ON TOPIC! And if everyone wants a person to be admin but you suck it up. And they arenot "governing you", you really should stop putting your two sence into everything (as in when your asked not to do something dont just go ahead and disbey because you dissagree with them), because all your doing is causing argments and problems... so plz if you dont have something nice to say DONT SAY IT!!!!!. Yes. It is a community and everyone is welcome to join discussions. But i agree this topic were made for votes and turned into a flamewar instead of a discussion on what qualifications a admin should have, which is a relevant topic at this stage of the voting.

no offense but,Anybody who types in 3rd person all the time shouldn't have administration rights to anything,it would be a joke no one would take them seriously.I have server experience,including mod uploading,monitoring, i used to have a successful server for 3 years till the bills caught up with me.Thats why i nominated myself if anybody was wondering.

Admins have to be mature, shoulndt call people names, shoulndt get pissed off about nothing, and shouldnt have a bad reputation. So byrd is perfect for it, and you.. well you are not. By the way if you have ever seen Byrd in the server, he talks in 3rd person over there as well.

Commando, if you are suggesting i have a "bad reputation" then i would ask at what? At being a good player who is very competitive? then i would have to agree,and i think you are wrong about me not being a good admin choice. For one i have server experience,for two i actually will in-force the rules with everybody unlike some current admins. 3 i am a hello member now so i think i would be perfect and i also think lost should get admin as well. if you guys need help on setting up ingame server admin just talk to me.We can do it on the event server and i can teach someone how to do it like hello or tankboy if you guys do not know how.It might take me a few tries to remember though i have not run a server in a few years. Look give me a try at admin,its not like you guys can't take it away or anything,oh and i would like remote access not in-game crap,i need to be able to use ingame messaging if i get admin at all.

I just wanna say that I love Fragd. He is a G. as in super awesome gangster. And I also think there should be a required time that every person shuld be in the clan before they can be eligible to be an Admin. Just throwin the idea out there. You can take it if you want or you can leave it. My feelings wont be hurt. Just letting you guys know, I love this clan and you guys rock! I cant imagine people coming on here and smarting off to you guys...

Zero I didn't say you have a bad reputation, but yes, when I was in S|CoM, and I would kill someone in the Hello server, half of the time someone would say: Ah, there is another S|CoM hacker. So people always said that S|CoM members hack, and since you were clanleader..
