Good evening, =ArA= Baldskull here. Glad to see you guys are still playing! I tried to install BFV the other day and couldn't get it to run. Then had a strange thing happen with Origin and now BF 1942 will not run on it.... anyway, I uninstalled BF1942 on origin and still can't get BFV to work. Now I can't remove BFV from program files and it doesn't run. I put in Disk 1 and it doesn't give me the option to Play or Uninstall.... any Ideas?

Hey!

Have you tried to uninstall the broken game from the folder by launching unins000.exe file or something similar, and not from CD?
You can also try to remove it from the "Control Panel" through "Add or Remove Programs" option.

Welcome! Hope you can get it all figured out quickly. It's so frustrating

Just last night I dusted off my BF 1942 Complete Collection and tried installing: BF 1942, Secret Weapons and also Road to Rome. All cd's and can't get any of them to work. I've had these games for over 10 years and still have never played these three.

At some PCs (I don't know what it depends on) BFV not starts from first attempt after system shutdown/restart, you can see BfVietnam.exe in windows task manager, but no any window, sound or any other signs. You have to kill the process manualy in task manager, and then start BFV again, and it will work. Maybe it will help in this case too.

Try and install windows XP as dual boot on your computer, all my old games run perfect on XP. This is how my PC is set up. XP/Win 10 dual boot.
