its unfortunate that you dont, reciently some scientists did a study and came out and said if (as far as i can remember) herpies, mad cow and some other virus mutated and came together there would be the capability of zombies to be real.
as for my zombie plan i have a few,
1st because i live in nz and the isolation we have if we had enough time the citizens could band together, create safe zones and destroy all the zombies b4 they get a stranglehold on major areas.
2nd if they were to get a stranglehold on major areas then i would sit tight for 24-48hrs while the few remaining people who were panicing and creating mayhem would be consumed. then with whoever i could get my hands on travel by whatever means i could get my hands on (probably horses as petrol is limited and will run out quickly) and collect what resources i could then head to an isolated open location and construct a well defended fort. also to travel within citys without having the worry of a zombie attack, i would find a way to set off the firehouses sirens, creating safe lanes to travel within. (as long as you are quiet)
long term plans would need to be on growing food, collecting water, and alot of major construction along traveled routes using temporary walls, guard posts etc. the only drawback to expansion is you need enough people to not only help construct but man these posts. overall organinsation, participation and prepairedness is key. to not plan is a recipie for disaster. oh and communication is key, especially with other survivors in other areas.

REALISTICALLY
one, if the zombies were a mutated disease, and the disease was spread by saliva, we all know they would have to bite someone. I mean really they play tag with humans and make more zombies??? But I live in redneck country. just about EVERYONE around here has an arsenal of shotguns, rifles, handguns, illegal weaponry (c4 for fishing). So if hoards of zombies infected the nearby small towns, unless the national news took over EVERY media form across the nation, we wouldn't know what hit us. Let's assume they didn't: zombies would pour into the countryside in search for food. They would come up to the first house, go inside and eat or transform everyone in it. ASSUMING a shot could be fired before this, it may/may not alert their neighbors. so the zombies would go to the next house finish them. and if THEY could get a shot off from a different firearm, the people would notice there's something wrong. Even if it was someone hunting deer or coyotes, no one pulls out a second firearm unless they're in trouble and ran out of ammo. I mean ur hunting, the object is to kill the target in one shot so you can taxidermy it and maybe eat the meat. So constant repeating fire will alert someone. People will end up passing the word, but it won't be fast enough. zombies can move WAY faster than a pudgy redneck can. But MAYBE half my street might end up holing up in some basement or house somewhere. we COULD hold the zombies off for maybe 15 minutes of combat before even gun toting rednecks run out of ammo. ASSUMING the people who took point on valuable entrances didn't suck at shooting and kill everyone.

WOULD LIKE TO HAPPEN
USMC secretly developed a division of marines in iron man suits who kicked the zombies rotten mutated butts. or the govt decides it's morally wrong to nuke their own country, and decide to go back to napalm. OR BETTER YET, make Justin Bieber sing, if they don't like his suckishness, they will either eat him or run away. But we can ALL move to Australia! in Canada there's LOTS of woods, meaning napalm runs 24/7 and tons of forest for them to hide in and possibly mass for an attack without ANY of our knowledge (try and go camping now :twisted: ). In Australia, we can just run pipelines from the pacific inland to the Outback and filters, where there is NO cover for the advancing zombies, so we would have water. we can capture animals native to the area and breed them inside a compound for food.
