if anyone could be hacking my IP?

I have been playing here since ... 2013 or so. Low ping. I have high speed, wired Internet. Over the past couple of months, I have been dealing with lag. I have tried restarting the router, the modem the computer. I have direct connected the computer to the modem. I even bought my own, high speed modem (to stop paying rent to rip-off Mediacom). My speed tests are:

572 mbps download
37 mbps upload

My system is the same system I have been using for at least the past two years. No lag until the past couple of months.

Some days, no lag. The past few days - lagamola.

If anybody has an ideas, I would appreciate knowing. Thanks.

Hi Pinky...
No idea if that is possible.. hacking your ip.
So far i know about high ping...
normally it is caused by "crowds" on your internet connection (other persons prehaps?). so not download anything .. and do not run any programs on the computer, what is using the internet, like a virus scanner.
I hope for you that it will over.... soon.
Best regards. Pieter.

Pinky,

Do a traceroute CMD and trace your ping. Or call your ISP Support and ask them to do it for you. Your broadband plan should have a latency SLA / Terms & Conditions.
If you have a consistent latency issue they have to look into it and give you feedback.

Thanks Orange. I used Mediacom speedcheck. I have 577 Mbps download and 34.3 Mbps upload. Ping 7 ms, Jitter 2 ms.

I bought a new Cat 6 cable and did a direct connect to my modem, it is brand new as well. I restarted everything. Then I purchased CCleaner. I remember when Shaun used CCleaner to help with uninstall/install of BFV. I ran it and cleaned out the registry. I cleaned the whole system.

As of late, I get small bits and pieces of lag (the jitters) during game. Not like it was before. I can live with this.

I still say, I think high pingers have an advantage. I need to record myself playing the game to prove it. I can be shooting at players right in front of me and they shoot back - I die. They do not. Seriously. I think it is because what I am shooting at does not exist and when they are shooting at me - I exist.

Call me crazy.
