If you're in 1,0, update to 1,2. If you're in 1,21, uninstall and then reinstall. Hello's server runs on the 1,2 version of Battlefield Vietnam.

There is no way that i know of to un-install patches on windows, or for that matter any other operating system... you'll have to un-install the entire game in order to remove a patch upgrade as it alters the files by adding more code.

Yeah, the only way is to uninstall everything and to be sure all files are deleted. Then re-install with the good version.
