Guys, consider how many players would be playing if we could get all 16 admins on at the same time, a feat that I am sure will never be accomplished.

I agree, that would be awesome! The biggest issue I see is time zones. It would be nearly impossible to get everyone on at once because what might be a reasonable time for some could be really late/early for others.

Agreed deadliest, maybe if it were done on a weekend it wouldn't be too bad of course it would take a bit of planning to set it up but it could be fun. maybe we could get all the US admins to get things going then the admins from other countries could join in as the game progresses through the night/morning. HMMMMM maybe set up a 24 hour battle
(kind of a team deathmatch) then have players sign up for it and then assign a team to each player, have them put either USA or NVA next to their game handle for the duration of the battle then add up the final score for each player and the team with the highest score wins. game could be played along with other players that haven't signed up but (obviously) those players scores wont count For each player that signed up we could put their current point total from game tracker (before it starts) next to their names on the sign up roster the when the 24 hour period is over tally the final point totals.


sorry just sittin here spewing as im thinking and we could have the players be responsible for checking there own scores and submitting them to the list before and after the game. they could then be verified by the Admins. only issue would be getting verification done immediately before and after the match is over

Sounds like a cool idea. I admit that it will take effort to pull something like this off, but we might as well try. For what it's worth, I can be on pretty much any time over the weekend so long as we get enough other admins to commit to it. My schedule is flexible so if we plan for the next two days I'd be willing to spend some extra time playing if it means we'd get more players on the server. Thoughts?

Hi hard_rice,

I get that you may be frustrated. We had 20 players on Khe Sahn - you gotta admit that must have been fun. Maybe an admin did not join early enough for your liking but one did join and promptly started to stop main rape. All of this happened prior to when you and Osama had your heated conversation and you quit.

We do have many admins to try to provide as much cover as possible but as you know, we all have periods where we play more and some periods where we play less. I don't think the issue is the number of admins. I wished I could have joined 20 minutes earlier to stop all of the rapes but I didn't. In this case, an admin did come on but maybe not soon enough.

The answer I think is to report infractions as players. Retaliating with the same infraction doesn't help the situation. IceSkater relaxed the reporting requirements to empower players when admins are not on.

Hi Guys

We cannot have an admin on every second of every day and we rely on players to at least try to follow the few rules we have without constant supervision.
If you feel that a player is breaking the rules then please feel free to report them on the forums for further action.

Oh and the admin list looks like this now and they are on in between Work, School and Family time. A few of the admins stay in Remote manager so that we can try to fix any problems that crop up by keeping an eye on the logs while not in the game.
Killzone is in Florida and has been worrying about bigger things than BFV.

Dear Everyone that didn't really need to know,
As of the time it was posted its accurate and because you have mentioned it here yes I had retired as an admin but that only lasted for 2 weeks and jumped back into the chair when it was needed.
