Banned?

Hi,

I played on the server maybe two days ago and am now on another physical machine.

Server tells me I'm banned but have no clue why.

Maybe someone can take a look at it.

Did you get told your data differed from the server first? That's usually the case and results from incorrect data, most of the time as it has ended up modified/corrupt.

reinstalls usually fix the issue, so give that a shot if you can.

On the PC I am referencing I followed the hints from here:

bfv/download.php

So it was freshly installed and after the password was entered BFV took 2-5 seconds and gave me the "BANNED FROM SERVER" Message.

No corrupted data message first... are players banned by name, GUID or CD-Key?

Hi,

They are banned essentially by CD Key and in some cases IP Address. If you did not get the corrupt message and think it may be the CD Key, send SK or IceSkater a PM and they can give you a new key.

If you can PM me your keyhash, I'll take a look. There are no temp bans so it's a permanent one somewhere.
