? weird, this is the first I've heard about this. So they did that as an April fools joke? That's really not cool. I was thinking about getting my 9 year old boy a computer (One of those small cheap ones designed mostly for the web). It would mostly be for our weekend Video Chats (he lives far away from me) but also so we could play BF2 together and other games and use Xfire to chat in game. I would be very PISSED if he saw that. However I would hope that the "uncoolness" of it has been brought to they're attention by now, and if they have any sense at all they wouldn't do it again.

Xfire wants all their users to be 13 years of age or older. Your son would be violating their new user registration agreement.

Nope, its a yearly thing. Its always amusing reading the spam posts on the forum from people flipping out. Also, your son must be 13+ to use Xfire, else if you complain they are in the right zone.
