There are detailed instructions included in the download.

This allows everyone who uses the same music pack to hear the same custom music regardless of whether you are in the same vehichle or not.

For Example if I play song B which is Metallica, everyone who has the music pack will also hear Metallica.

It's pretty cool when a friend flies by and you hear some Metallica, etc..

If there is interest, I will explain how to make your own music packs for your friends.
I will also make one more music pack made up of request from you guys if you wish.

I tried to use a variety of music for this music pack along with some of my favorite songs I have listened to playing BFV over the years. I'm sure you won't like every song but you can always make your own.

There is a complete song list included in the download. Enjoy !!

Edit: Also wanted to add that you guys could maybe all try it at the next event or make your own for future events, it would add some fun.

...WARNING SOME SONGS CONTAIN MATURE LANGUAGE !!!

Using a program called Goldwave, changing 3 settings to adjust bass and volume levels, then converting the mp3s to 16 bit mono wav files.

Then using an mrfa builder, it converts the wav files into one mrfa file and then using the music patcher to inject the songs into the game.

That's the quick explanation.

I will post step for step instructions in the next day or so.

It used to take about two hours 4-5 years ago ,but I did this one in under an hour. PC's are a lot faster these days.

I meant as a download pack on the website here, avable for all members. And yes windows 7 users can listen to music in bfv.
Click on BFV icon>Preferences>Compability View>Run in win 2000 or something>Apply. Then it works

Make a song list with 16 songs and I can make it pretty quickly.

If it's an american song, then chances are I will already have it, if not I will have to find the mp3.

It's not true that no windows 7 user can hear the music, because nearly everyone i know who plays the game with windows 7 can hear music when they run it as windows98/me. But it seems your computer is different because you cant hear it, even when you use 98/me :S

I'm not one to seek praise on the internet, I do things because I enjoy helping people.

But, I do not apreciate how someone who was shown my post and read my directions, made his own music pack and is spamming it everywhere without once saying thanks one time anywhere.

It took some time to write out directions and include every program you would need and put them together for everyone.

Nobody even knew about this much less how to make it.

There has been almost 20 people that downloaded my music pack and 10 that downloaded my instructions and programs to make your own. A Thank You, would be nice or at the very least, don't act like you didn't just read my directions.

I have other cool BFV related things I could share with people but, I think I have learned my lesson.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Reminder if you make your own..

Songs with long intros aren't very good, it's not good if you die before the songs starts.

If your mp3 is low quality then you may want to tinker with the volume matching settings to make it louder.
