wheres the server ??

hi, im a longtime bf1942 veteran, been watching all the old bf communities (2142, vietnam, etc) last months to see how the gamespy shutdown affected them, population-wise

now it seems that the biggest bfv server; hello bf vietnam has disappeared somewhere during the last 14 days ?!

i see no posts about it in this forum, can anybody tell me whats going on ?

perm shutdown ? hacker attacks ? moved ? etc ..?

It depends where you are looking. The server is still up but it appears gametracker is having trouble finding it and it may no longer be on your server list.

thx for the reply, yes, it was gametracker i primarily used to observe the vietnam community

i dont have bvf installed, does anybody know of other ways of monitoring bfv servers ?

ive tried :

game-monitor
qtracker
xfire
hlsw
gameranger

couldnt get any of those to display bfv servers

I have all maps showing up on xfire currently so it should work. I'm also hoping gametracker will figure out the problem as a bunch of other servers are missing too so maybe it's just a temporary issue on their end.
