I would not say horrible, you can't make a movie with the class of the 70's or 80's in the modern day. After all, its still George Lucas who directed them. But as always the first will always be the best, the 4,5,6 defines star wars as we know it. But i would not hate on the 1,2,3 they were entertaining.

The 'Alien' series? The 'predator' series? the 'alien vs predator' series? all great films as far as im concerned. 'Predator' is probably the best though as there is alot more violence
