Ok ,so it is obvious that this player is not learning from having a short term ban. This time, again, he was destroying friendly vehicles to prevent other team mates from using them. This time it was witnessed by two admins. This time the ban should be very long term or permanent.

I'd say bans should be X 2 of last ban and so on. So a Month sounds good to me !

Yes, as long as there's no evidence of the TK, it's not certain it happened. Unless SK can find evidence of it in the event logs, the player will have to unbanned because of a lack of evidence.

The offence was witnessed by two admins and also a player in game (bikerboy in chat "why destroy plane" etc).

Add to this a confession/non-denial by Guma_Orbit.

So three witnesses, plus Guma's statement, and still a video is needed? Don't become a judge in a real court of law, Beta!

There is a list of guidelines in the admin forum, which clearly state that videos are needed for bans involving TKing. Xfire has the function to record videos that include a few seconds of the past if needed as well.

It would not take much for anyone to get a few players to say "x destroyed our plane". Should we then ban X for that; despite the fact we never saw anything? And then when this player appeals, should we just say "well these 3 people said you did it so you did"? That, is a lot more unfair and atleast a video gives you ground to stand on.

I vote clear the ban list! Battlefield vietnam is dead enough as it is . Clearing the banlist would add what about another 50 or 70 people easy considering how fast hello clan is to ban someone..... People could always be rebanned if needed..... Like me for instance ... I came on again ... and was banned again.... then I came on couple weeks ago ....and was banned again.... Well you get the picture...

Taking a admins ban rights when he spots it on the fly is really silly. How about when he seen the person "X" earlier that day or the night before ? He has to go through all the warnings and rehash al the same chit to person "X" again and then get a SS or movie ?

I will use a real example " Makaveli " when he comes on , he instantly challenges what ever admins on and applies pressure and spam chat to see if he can get the admin to do something. In the same example I seen the admin just pick up where they both left of the previous night and he got kicked. The point I am showing here, he acted like he was done wrong and did nothing, but really he manipulated his short stay on the server to make it look like the admin was to kick/ban happy. But in reality it was carry over from the last 3 meetings by him and the admin.

Why do the admins have to waste time with these goons and play there games ? Just to be more politically just ?
If you think your admins are kicking / banning because they are to trigger happy you have already picked the wrong guys at that point.

Plus the others on the server have to rehash the spam crap every time the trouble makers come on ?

Let the admins have the power to weed out trouble makers on the fly. Can you imagine trying to manage kids like this ? If you don't get a video the Kid is innocent automatically ?

There is enough trouble makers on this server and if you hand cuff the admins, what's the use playing here ?

And our admins are not admins, they are baby sisters. :xp: because they have to be....
