Back again since a couple'o'years ...

Hi all,

It's a few years back, but I wanted to play some BFV again and saw that hello is still around !
I just installed the game but for playing online I need an update wich the computer doesnt seem to find.
Can someone help me getting started ?

As I said, I installed the game already and only need to update.

Are you interested in joining the clan or just getting your game working? What update is it you need? If you are referring to patch we are on 1.2.

"SK" eh? Have I seen you in-game? I only ask because it tends to only be people that know me who go down the route of calling me "SK"; everyone else seems to like making life harder for themselves with "succeed" , "succeeded" or "killer". xD

Regarding your application, if you don't mind following the steps here: bfv/getstarted.php (You can edit your main post and just paste the template in instead of making a new topic) and once that formality is done I'll get round to accepting you.

I'm trying to get the patch, but in-game I don't succeed with this small operation yet.

Well I've only played a couple of years; you saying you stopped in 2009 makes it seem unlikely. I guess you just got lucky. Nice to hear the patch is going well, let us know if you have any futher problems. And don't worry about the topic I'll just move this one and we can keep it for sorting out your game problem.

I'm sorry ... I even don't remember you ! ... but it was about 2009 when I played BFV for the last time ...

A few things I can remember from some years back is that HELLO was around a lot that time.
I was happily amused that this game was still on ! ... so why not join the team ?

I had to reboot my whole system, but now I can't log in to the game anymore because of a 'wrong version'. Accepting to search for an update doesn't give any solution. As far as I know , I did all that is necessary to be able to log in;
* refresh server,
* install and re-install version 1.2,
* add the Hello-IP-adress (over and over again),
* etc ...

Do you know what goes wrong ?

What version are you currently on?

Go to "multiplayer" and it appears at the bottom right of the screen...although it is hard to see.

If it is 1.21, I'm not aware that you can downgrade. If it's lower than 1.2, then make sure you installed the patch in the right place.

That's all I can think of for now.

I didn't see that version in the lower rightcorner of the screen. After noticing, I wondered why it still was V1.0, after I had 'installed' V1.2. It seemed that I only extracted the files in the BFV-folder and not installed it. So I just did that and we already met at the battlefield again

Yes, I'm 'also' Lt. Frank.
That was alwyas my normal game-name, ut since I joined HELLO, I also use Lt Haspelson.
I do hope that shouldnt be a problem.
