invalid cd key......

hey i bought a legit copy of battlefield vietnam so i can play in the hello server
its really legit i bought it from a shop with case and all its not from some keygen site
well i installed the game and guess what invalid cd key................ i also tryed keygens but it doesnt work
so how can i get a working one or a refund...... thanks

Go to EAs website and go to support and tell them your problem

Start menu > run(if windows 7, skip) > type in regedit > HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > Wow6432Node(if it isn't there, you have 32 bit - doesn't matter) > Look for Electronic Arts > Bfvietnam > ergc part on the side > tell me if there.

*Should* be easy to get to, but you never know, there are people who don't know how to update to 1.21...

I have the exact same problem, with both my CD-keys. Tried all the fixes that people posted online, including what Kurk said. Didn't work, so I uninstalled, removed all registry entries and tried again, still didn't work.

You ever try going to EA GAMES\Battlefield Vietnam\eReg and using the Battlefield_Vietnam_Code.exe?

its patch 1.2 same as hello clan server and yes i changed serials in the EA games folder it even says its a right key ! (original didnt work) < was also invalid
untill i try to join hello server it says invalid cd key i just go to support i guess. :/...

Try downgrading to patch 1.2 seeing as Hello's server is on that patch. That *Could* be the problem for you and the game *could* be giving the wrong message.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but BFV is not F2P like 1942 is, right?

sorry i ment 1.2. i edited it and no it aint you cant play with a download version on hello because you cant patch the download version thats why i bought a legit copy but it aint working it says invalid cd key the weird thing is i just upgraded to 1.21 and suddenly i can play on the number 2# server im going back to 1.2 now maybe it fixes my problems who knows i will let it know if it worked thanks for all the help btw

Did you buy it new? Most of the time people buying used games don't have valid keys so that why you shoulds always buy NEW just saying
