Xfire voice chat problem

Hey guys. I cant get xfire voice chat to work. I know my mic and headset are good because i use them on skype all the time. But with xfire i cant hear anyone but only somtimes they can hear me. Can someone please help me?

I had the same problem... I finally figured out the solution. The key is to plugin in your mic BEFORE you start xfire. Meaning if you started xfire without your mic plugged in, plug it in, and restart xfire. That helped for me.

Well actually i cant hear people now. But the mic works..

Check x fire voice chat settings .. u probly have.. make sure the right devices are being used.. when u join a room.. whoever made the room has to hit the mic button. so ppl can chat... Maybe u have to make the room and press the mic button.. and then get ppl to join ur room see if that works.. i had a prob with this.. i had to make the room so it would work.. see if it helps

It seems that your rite fresh. But anyway would still be nice if i could join other chat rooms like helloclan radio and be able to use voice chat

Yea i hear ya.. some ppl i can drag a pic into the chat window and u can send.. but some ppl i cant send files to them.. or they dont see the invite to a room i sent them .. seems xfire is not very consistant in some areas.. Sometimes u see a mesg about the firewall.. If u are going to reinstall xfire and see if it helps .. take note of your settings.. so u can redownload them.. i use xfire blues for eg and backup ur logs incase theres links u want to keep that ppl may have sent you
