This isn't a warning that he is about to be banned if thats what you think probation is. Probation is what we put people on after a temporary ban, not to mention at no point in here did you kick him. Standard procedure is warn kick (warn) ban (though the second warning is optional depending on the case).

These are all the logs that have been taken and saved of him breaking the rules. toxic brekas the rules way too much, and does it way too often... I dont know but this might be the largest cloollctiong of logs on one player on this site. So i dont know why you will let this slide. Mr rager for example was permantly banned for ingoring admins warnings and insulting. I will speak what i truely think about this.. Alpha i know you are friends with toxic. Perhaps some of the original log in this topic is not the perfect evidence, but when you combine it with all the other posts scattered around the forum you have to wonder why nothing has been done...unless there is something someone would like to explain to me that i'm missing?

You hit the nail on the head. It boggles my mind !! It sends the message that if you kiss certain admins ass's then you don't have to follow the rules. And this topic is just from people who use the forum, there are many, many more people who agree that don't use the forum.

Is Toxic a friend of some of yours? I'm only asking because every topic I see that is about him is either ignored or, like this topic, scrutinized more than any other topic. This is hardly the first time you guys have seen a report about Toxic either ... Some examples:

Toxic has been kicked in the past ... and that was a good deal of time ago for which there was alot of apologies from him.

You say here that you warned him again, yet the logs don't show it and then later say:

this was never ment to be warning

So... according to these logs you at no point warned him, you at no point kicked him. But instead went straight to banning him.
Your not exactly helping your own case. If you can fetch up some logs that show that you did actually warn or kick him sure, but as far as I can see... you didn't.

As I stated previously, you gave tankboy false information, half the grounds you banned toxic on are for not respecting an admin... and you didn't warn him to begin with.
Also, you just confessed to having your own hand in this. You just clearly stated you do hate him which seems to be at-least a contributing factor in this ban.
Not to mention, I highly doubt tankboy would have told you to ban him. He probably made a suggestion (once again going off of the false information you gave him).

These are all the logs that have been taken and saved of him breaking the rules. toxic brekas the rules way too much, and does it way too often...

All of these logs are one-sided (again). It shows nothing about what other players were saying in the server at the time. Also, it isn't breaking the rules to call someone a noob, or to use language on occasion... its a wargame, 'nam infact, known for gruesome combat and language. I see very few places where he actually violated the rules in all those one-sided logs, and even then it was insulting only (which doesn't mean anything as its a one-sided and edited log).

I dont know but this might be the largest cloollctiong of logs on one player on this site. So i dont know why you will let this slide. Mr rager for example was permantly banned for ingoring admins warnings and insulting. I will speak what i truely think about this.. Alpha i know you are friends with toxic. And in my opinoin thats why you dont want him banned. Yes i hate toxic.

I'm not friends with Toxic, though he does occasionally take video of hackers and tip off admins. And as I said while clarifying Hippo's post, many of the perminant bans are repeat offenders, and have actually been banned using the correct process of warn kick (warn) ban. Which you kinda botched up.

Ass kissing gets you nowhere, adding to the community and tipping off admins about possible hackers, aswell as getting banned by a relatively new admin (and then kindly asking another admin to take a look at your case) however can put your ban up for a weigh-in by other admins.

I'll bet you if someone was keeping the logs of every word that I've ever said on the server that could be twisted, and took them out of context and posted them on the forum they would look pretty damn incriminating too on first glance. Unless I see some actual unedited logs, this ban won't stand.

Excuse me for being critical, however I was asked by a number of people within the 360* clan what the deal was, and I don't particularly like how this ban was carried out. >.< Not to mention due to errors in the console Toxic is still banned till we can iron out bugs, he's getting more than what's due.

Please, Byrd read the opposing argument before rattling off about the same things that have already brought up.

Actions speak louder than words. AKA, don't just apologize, stop the offending behavior.

Look at any of the logs posted for previous bans or Toxic complaints. He is not chatting WITH the others on the server, he is simply insulting them. IE the conversation is one sided not the logs themselves. Most often other players say nothing.

I'm not saying Byrd banned him correctly. In fact, it doesn't appear that he warned him him well, and the whole "name stealing" issue is just BS. Plus really Byrd, if you are going to act as admin, don't be hating anyone. Hate clouds judgement whether you try to hold it in check or not. I don't hate toxic or anyone else in the community.
Hasn't enough evidence already been posted? I just got tired of making excuses for Toxic and somewhat ignoring his rule violations just because we were on friendly terms. That isn't fair to other players. For that, he unfirended me on Xfire and often acts like a jerk in the server. That's his choice. Sadly I doubt he will change his attitude when unbanned. I hope he eventually does and continues to be a helpful community member.

We didn't perminant ban on any of those other the first time around either. All of them are constant and repeat offenders, often times 3 or 4 times before they are perm. banned.

And like I said in an earlier post, he either insults you or accuses you of cheating if you kill him. There have been multiple times where he accused me of cheating and said he was gonna take videos, just because I killed him. You think he is taking videos to help clean the server up or could it be cuz he is a sore loser?

And also, I have seen some of those videos he has taken and ones that he has even got people banned from and they are suspect to say the least. First off there is no sound in almost all of them, people can hear foot steps and gun fire to know where people are without map hacking. Secondly, when spectating someone, you don't get the full range of view the player has himself in a game, so it's hard to know exactly what that player is seeing ahead of him. I'm not saying it's impossible to catch a map hacker, but keep these things in mind.

As far as his own clan members trying to get him unbanned, do you think that isn't to be expected.

I don't see why one guy is backed up over multiple admins and multiple hello members and non hello members. It seems you would rather save one guy who clearly breaks the rules over and over and instead piss off dozens of other players who have seen for them self how this guy is. Of course you won't admit it's because of him being friends with you or another admin, but that isn't going to change others from coming to that conclusion.

I follow the rules when I play.
I donate to the server.
I participate in the forum, I have posted how to make your own custom music, different buddylist colors, playing tips, compliment the admins when they do a good job, and post videos of tricks,etc...

I don't expect any special treatment, why should this guy get any?


EDIT: As I was typing this I saw LOST post. He seems like a reasonable and unbiased guy. Ban him a month, he will just do the same old shit when he gets back neway, he has proven that already.
