I understand why I was banned, but I don't think its fair in the context in which it happened. Yes I was having fun talking about bs all night, and I think many people enjoyed it. AXL asked me to keep it "disney" and I think he can attest that I did that for the most part. I was talking shit to zero, but he was talking shit to me, the only difference was he wasn't using as many swear words to do it. That whole thing started on Flaming Dart after the towers were destroyed, he told me to get the fuck out of a vehicle and said "you are walking", I told him he was a douchebag for pulling an immature move like that, and I think I was completely justified in saying so. He then proceeded to challenge me to a 2v2, which I declined bc I don't have anything to prove to some random idiot on a bfv server. Once we got onto Lang Vei I crashed a chopper and he proceeded to tell me repeatedly that I was a shitty pilot, along with someone else, and to continue to say I was a pussy for not accepting his 2v2 challenge. He also, along with his lover boy Toxic continued to call me a "kid" which is just plain annoying as hell. All in all he did his part to incite me into acting how I did, and as soon as an admin shows up he starts to act like Mr. Innocent and as if he was wronged by what I was doing. I think the actions which were took against me were fair, but I don't see how him not getting anything done to him is at all fair. If you're gonna kick and ban me for talking shit and not stopping you can't very well not kick and ban him for doing the same (he also continued after the admin said to stop).

Anyways, I was having fun on the server until Zero and Toxic showed up with their "I'm the shit" attitudes. I'm a consistent joker who is here to have fun, and yes I bent the rules tonight and at other times, but I don't go around saying and doing things to intentionally piss people off and then act as if I did nothing at all. If you wanna let jackasses like them play on your server that's your business, but this situation was entirely brought on by Zero and not me. I'm also sure I'm not the only one who can attest to their poor attitude, I've been on the receiving end of toxic's shit talking/acting innocent routine before (if they are actually older than 16, its extremely sad they're still acting like that).

That said, I'm sorry I didn't heed the request to stop, but its difficult in the face of someone not only trying to piss you off and not getting caught for it, but then setting you up to take the fall by acting innocent and seeing that routine actually work.

I like your server and I would like to continue to play there.

You're absolutely right, I should have picked up earlier that he's just one of those ppl who wants to bait others into getting pissed off and not bothered with him at all. Alas, I'm tired and I was annoyed that some dumbass was ruining my fun times on BFV. I actually remembered after I posted this that I had told myself weeks ago that I was gonna get off around this time bc its usually when toxic logs in. Unfortunately I didn't play again until weeks later and completely forgot lol.

Oh I didn't mean to imply I was gonna bend over backwards for someone of his low calibre. I simply meant that usually he logs on at the time in the morning where I am saying "you should be asleep by now" (about 2-3 hours ago, I should really be asleep right now!). So since I shouldn't be online anyway, avoiding him kills two birds with one stone. Anyways, hopefully I get unbanned, this is all just a giant stupid occurrence that need not have happened, live and learn.

I got warnings about talking about sexual stuff, which I will admit I half hardheartedly followed, which is why I'm not disputing that I deserve the actions which were taken. I do however dispute this statement you made on the banlist

For one, even the parts of the excerpts you posted show him swearing and attacking me and yet he didn't get a warning at all. For the rest, I told you exactly what happened, the towers were gone, there was a handful of vehicles left, and the tickets were down to the wire and Zero was telling me to "get the fuck out of" one (which you didn't include in your chat excerpt) so I told him what I thought of him and his dickhead move. You also didn't include the part where he was constantly berating me for not accepting his 2v2 challenge, and you also didn't include the part where he wouldn't let my chopper crash go. I don't think there can be any serious dispute that Zero had his part in starting and continuing this, so I don't think it is at all fair that I am the singular focus of banning on this one. Perhaps a warning to him? Anything? Nothing? Or is it as I said before, that its okay to provoke so long as you don't get caught?

As for my attacks on Toxic, Toxic has been a whiny douchebag to me before so when I saw that he was friends with Zero you can imagine the "a-ha" moment that I was having. Anyways, this wouldn't have even progressed to the point it did if I didn't feel like I was the only one getting it handed to them and that Zero was getting away with being disruptive. If he had got any sort of warning for his disruptive behaviour I would have acknowledged it, felt better about it, and just shut up. I know I'm lecturing you on your admin responsibilities, but my point is that I'm not a loose cannon who attacks people for no reason at all, so I think that should bear some weight on examination this situation. As it is I think a day ban is fair so I'm not gonna keep complaining about that. I just hope that going forward you will keep an eye on Zero and Toxic because they are the root cause of this situation, and if its happened to me I'm sure its happened to others.

Ya that's me, I've never seen anyone else with the name Vietminh lol. We can if you like, but I don't think I've ever come onto your server to intentionally piss people off or to not have fun. Believe me, I've got better ways to vent my anger and better things to do than purposefully harass people on a game server for a 7 year old game that less than 100 people actively play. Whatever I do I do for fun, and the only people I've ever actively attacked were Zero and Toxic, and I had a very logical reason for doing so (and I've been very upfront about that, I don't deny it).

All of the warnings I've ever got have centred around objectionable names and questionable language. I think in all honesty its time to relax those rules, all of the bans listed on this forum seem to be about language. The question to me is really who cares at this point? So few people play this game anymore, and the number slowly dwindles over time. Can we not just have some fun shooting the shit with the time we've got left? Unless its language directed at someone, or its racist, or sexist, or is being used to attack a fellow player (as I ended up doing) then I don't see the point in banning what few players are left.

I was on the server playing at the time of ur ban :shock: . i was the one who was helping u with ur music/options :shock: (what a bad guy i am huh :lol: ) now.. i was there....i have the logs, u can se on the banlist. i dont consider zero or toxic my friends, im not showing them any special treatment. i was defending them becuase you and ur new team mate began to insult . worse was that i gave you several warnings to stop it, but u didnt listen. i usually go warn kick ban..... i think a day ban was better than fair, so i wouldnt complain.

theres no point in crying about the game is dead.. how many ppl play,, dont ban ppl whos left.... plain and simple follow the rules and listen to admins , if admin advises you to do something.. if you ignore them and contiunue to target or harrass a player.. it should be no surprise that they will act (or the person your harassing strikes back). If we stay vigilant with troublemakers and keep our server fun, and not full of ppl insulting. The game will live longer

swearing is tollerated ,,, but insulting is not.
insulting someone, spaming the chat , the F commands or a player then geting warned (SEVERAL TIMES) and you continue, i consider disruptive to others on the server.

We have plenty of admins contact us if were needed.. usually one of us is logged in.

I don't dispute I earned what happened or that it was a fair punishment, so I won't keep pestering you. I also didn't mean to imply you were playing favourites with Toxic and Zero, I just felt as I said that Zero deserved some action as well. As for the sexual name, the chat was moving so fast that I assumed that the person I was talking to was an admin and just got on the BVSM to send a warning out. Also I name call as a matter of habit, sometimes serious, sometimes not, but I don't think it affects the validity of my argument or is any accurate measure of my actual maturity level. I'm sure given that you've read the chat logs you can judge how seriously I take myself when playing BFV lol.

Anyways, I will be better behaved and not direct my swearzies or vivid imagery at anyone in an insulting way. That is a fair thing to ask. Also, thank you for explaining the rules in more detail to me.

For 1 When we were on dart, I jumped into the ZSU and started driving you jumped in and i said exact words Get Out. You said No,Therefore i said what you said i said.But, the day before i joined the server ( after not playing in forever ) and you started talking mad crap to me for no reason at all. With your little clan friend of yours Said some serious stuff that's "against server rules" i think a numinous amount of sexual comments about me "sucking dick"? So ya,taking us back to dart for that your whining about how you got Day banned and whinnied about it .As of that moment you piss'd me off cause i was try'n to shoot the planes down that the other players had with you jumping in my vehicle that i was using to kill players with it didn't help. But map was about to end anyway so i didn't care after i figured that out.

Oh and the 2 on 2 thing that was ask'd the first time i met your your little retard group,so i thought id ask again since your =Weiner= Clan is so "pro" and all you guys talk about is how good you are every map. Yet only thing i see you and your members using is tanks. Pro's learn to use everything not just tanks and besides as far as im concern there are no "pro's " left in this game its Tournament standard wise "Dead" as long as people play battlefield vietnam it will never be a dead game in my books. I think you essentially proved my criticism of your behaviour by using a dead thread with a resolved issue to talk shit to me two weeks after this thing happened. As for the issues in question:

I don't recall talking any crap to you the day before this happened, as far as I know I had never spoken to you up until that point. As for what Gaddafi has to say, he's his own person so that's his own business. The =Weiner= clan isn't a real clan, I would have thought the name would have made that obvious to you. As for the event in question:

Perhaps if you had figured that out earlier the entire thing could have been avoided. As for you using the ZSU to kill people, you weren't, because there were no planes in the air (towers had been destroyed long before you got there) and I had spawned a few seconds after you and got on the gun seat.

I don't take this game seriously enough to care which vehicle I am in, I use whatever is available like every other player does, whether its a chopper, a plane, a tank, a jeep, or a scooter. I take the easy-rape vehicles (choppers, tanks) when I get the opportunity like everyone else does. If you don't do it that's your business, but there's no sense in bitching about other players using vehicles which are available on the map (I feel stupid even pointing that out to you, who honestly bitches about something like that? Especially if they've played a battlefield game for more than 2 seconds).

Now that I've finished lowering myself to the level of an incoherent 18 year old, I suggest this thread be locked because this is just going to turn into something useless past this point (Just kidding, clearly it already did).
