Well, I was in the army many years ago right out of high school, for two years. It was not too long after the first Iraq war so I didn't see any "action" or anything. My dad was in the army and fought in Vietnam; My grandfather was in the Army and fought in France during WWII. So I'm kind of loyal to the army, however I have family members that have served, or are currently serving in every branch of the military - cousin in the navy, another in the marines, an uncle in the Air force and so on.
Now I hope no one is offended but I do have to say the Army has a much wider variety of various jobs and specialty positions. And it is often said among members of the army that "the marines go out first to draw the fire, while the army goes in and does the real job."
thats true, it in a real war the hardest job are in the frontline, and the mainly things must do the army
the Marines are a special force unit, so they would do more special jobs
the army is the one, who fight in the hell while the marines have the best equipment and they work still and secret while i mentioned about, the army must fight in the frontlines
Well, like you can see it, to work for Marines is good, but you must train hard for it
