This tutorial will show you how to set up a dedicated Battlefield Vietnam server for Windows, using the Battlefield Vietnam Server Manager.
In the first place, you need to download the server files, you can also just use your game folder, though it's better to get the server files to keep everything separated and they're smaller in size due to lacking things not essential to a server, such as textures.
First make sure that the ports 15567 UDP and 23000 UDP are forwarded for your router and firewall.

Now download the Battlefield Vietnam Server Manager and extract the contents to your server folder.

Once all of that is taken care of, go to your server folder and right click bfvietnam_w32ded.exe, select Properties and go to the Compatibility tab
Once on the Compatibility tab, select Windows XP SP3 and Run this program as an administrator and click Ok. Repeat the same process for BVServerManager.exe
Open BVServerManager.exe and enter your local IP address, set the game to Internet and click Save. Also change your server name.
Head to the Users tab and change your admin password, click save in both the users column and at the bottom of the window.
Go to the Maps tab and choose your map rotation, save afterwards. After that, simply click Start at the bottom of the BVSM window and your server should be running.
