Many people playing this game may be aware that there are instances when the game sound may disappear either partially or completely. Though some may not know that there's a simple and reliable way to fix this without restarting the game.
Change the underlined setting "Channels" to something other than 64 (for example 60), then save, afterwards change it back to 64 and save again.
Your sound should now be working again.
