Kurk, have you ever seen/held a real American football? It's not shaped that much like an egg, unless you have some pretty pointy eggs in your country.
And at least in football, unlike futbol, when a player gets bumped (or appears to get bumped) he doesn't have to roll around in agony until the referee waves the scary yellow cards at the other players.
And soccer is definitely a growing sport in the USA, go Seattle Sounders. Also, go Mariners, Seahawks, and what the heck, Go Canucks.

well they do play a sport on one of the hardest surfaces in the world with blades on their feet they get their teeth knocked out and dont bother to replace them not only that they have sticks they swing around sometimes at each other they play with what they call a puck witch is a rock hard piece of rubber that they hurl around at up to 150 miles per hour at their goalies who just stand there and take the hits. am i missing anything. OH Yeah!!!! they get into fights with other players that are usually over absolutely nothing so yea its pretty safe to say they are little crazy

Hockey Player: Crazy? No. Real men? Yes. Hockey is one of the few sports where its legal to fight without getting suspended, or thrown out, and they dont fight for no reason... they just settle things the old fashion way instead of crying. Its physical, for reason. It is a true spectators sport. Hockey Players arent crazy, they just have a pair of balls.

oviusly you dont know hockey... if you fight... u get a 5minute penalty... but no game misconducts or suspensions... Hockey is the toughest sport on earth to play, and true athletes play it. Unlike "football" (soccer version). Speaking of Soccer, hockey is light years better than football/soccer.

I watch AHL, and they get a 2 minute penalty. I know hockey byrd. Max its obvuisly were never gomna agree... I n hockey when a player gets in a fight they get 1 (unposted) 5 minute major... Sometimes they get a two minute minor for instegating......

Now I know why you talk in the third person Byrd, you played Hockey once, got hit in the head one too many times. Hockey fighting is a drunken version of Boxing. They have to hold each other with one hand while the punch with the other, :lol:
