Server crashing computer

My computer crashed today when the server crashed. The map was loading and i had to shut my computer off to restart it. Could they be planting viruses through the server? Just want to be cautious.

no they cant

did you try ctrl+alt+del?

and run task manager and close out of bfv?

same time i got a black screen when mine froze when server crashed, and clt alt del ...wasnt working. would like to get this problem resolved like anyone else.. i would like to know what have we done to fix this..? and what can i do..? can we complain to the host about getting bad service from them. or change hosts?

Tried everything... even that.. i have a power button sleep button on my keyboard and it wouldnt react to those

Server isn't directly causing the crash. Bfv's Blackscreen can cause crashes of the game when its "shocked" into activating. Its poor coding on DICE's part, but its not something they could have fixed easily without creating a new method for changing maps. Also, I would like to say that you should have more than two instances where this problem has occurred due to a server crash as it could be a freak event and just a one time thing.

ok thanks, im not really worried about the black screen or frozen comp once in a while ... the server crashing is the real issue here.

Man I thought I was the only one. I get black screen's sometimes with the server crashes.

I got it too, but it didn't crash my pc.
