HelloClan presents - Hello's Got Talent!​

Possibly a first...amongst gaming communities! We're officially hosting this event that probably will end in deaths from laughter or cheers. One of the two...

The event will be hosted exclusively on our Discord server, please ensure you have joined there so you can take part either as a spectator or a performer!

Anyone can apply to be a performer, as long as it's an audio talent like voice acting, instrument playing or singing.


This event will take place inside a dedicated Stage channel, it'll popup near the time and will be visible when you click on our Discord server. It'll look like this:

Only one designated person may speak at a time in a stage channel, making it perfect for such an occasion. Even members joining and leaving won't make a sound so the person on stage won't be interrupted!


T's & C's:

As a performer, you are allowed a gracious time limit of 5 min. This is to ensure that everyone gets a chance to perform and to also ensure there's no stage hoggers.

There are going to be "Stage" moderators that reserve the right to remove you from the stage if your performance is deemed...there's no other word for it. Bad.

Last accepted application will be the 11th (day before the event).

A poll will be setup for all the performers in a Discord channel where members can vote for their coveted performer. Essentially granting the most voted person bragging rights.

You must apply and ensure your Discord server name is visible. Performers will be called in order of first application to last. Performers will be assigned a temporary role of Performer on Discord to verify they are present.

On application, it must be stated with the check box if the applicant consents to the event being live stream to one of our platforms. If non-consent is present amongst the majority, the event won't be live streamed. If consent is given amongst the majority, the event will be live streamed.

Performers are listed in the #applicants channel on our Discord server, and the order they are in (the order in which applied first etc) is the order that they will be called upon to take the stage!

Remember, this is a going to take place in a stage channel, members who join a stage channel will be muted unless they are on the stage. Tomorrow night I will add a poll in the #got-talent-polls channel for each performer for everyone to vote on who had done the best job.

Please note there will be a few Mods present to ensure the event goes smoothly, they will call up and grant permission to the performer that needs to take the stage to speak. The event will be live streamed on our Facebook page here: https://facebook.com/helloclan (provided I am not hit by power cuts).
