Battlefield 1942 Eve of Destruction Event

Greetings BF1942 community,

I'm posting this on behalf of Lucca just so it's known.

Our BF1942 has now been switched over and is running the Eve of Destruction mod in advance of the event this weekend.

Please note that once the event is over, it may revert to original maps.

How was the turnout? I’m very sad that I was absent but I had to work yesterday and didn’t get home until about 6:30 PM my time which would have been 3:30AM for the actual event? I was so looking forward to this because I haven’t played BF1942 EOD mod with more than 2-3 people in years. I bet it was really fun with 20+players on.

Considering that there were some issues with some players getting the mod working (which Lucca & I sorted out), and that our server isn't widely known yet, it went okay in my books.

Roughly 25 players on for a reasonable amount of time. Quite sure the we will retain the players that did join us and hopefully the next event will be better - turnout wise.
