Please note the below amendment to the Admin Courses of Action topic, followed by the amendment to the rules page.
Current courses of action:
Game based offenses:
Example: Being disruptive, team-killing, shooting friendly vehicles, main rape & map exploits.
All of these offenses are of the same nature. Thus, if someone shoots a friendly vehicle and gets kicked, then comes back to main rape they will be banned. This applies only if the intent was malevolent in nature. As is to be expected though, admin discretion will be used in all circumstances. An Admin may warn the user if they choose to, otherwise they will be kicked immediately.
Actions to be expected:
1. The player will be kicked as soon as the offense is committed.
2. Should the player keep it up after they have been kicked, they will be banned for a period entirely dependent upon their behavior.
Further examples of the above rule:
Putting your team at a distinct disadvantage by taking vehicles, but not using them to fight.
Taking a tunnel and refusing to place it.
Excessive Team-switching.
Hiding at the end of a map and making no effort to capture a flag.
Giving away player positions. (The only exception is for the situation directly above.)
Taking a vehicle as one team, and deliberately giving it to the other.
Destroying a tunnel/spawnbox belonging to your team.
Hacking would also be classed as disruptive game-play.
Blowing up a vehicle with a teammate nearby.
Deliberately crashing a vehicle with a teammate in.
Deliberately crashing a vehicle into a teammate.
Shooting a vehicle belonging to your team for any reason other than preventing an enemy who is about to get it/to re-spawn it as it is damaged and can't be easily repaired/killing the enemy near or in it.
Any glitches in a map that give a player an unfair advantage, usually by providing them a way to kill players without the players they target being able to shoot back, are classed as exploits.
This includes shooting through walls, being in walls and being under floors. We don't class mortar jumping as a map exploit as the player has no real unfair advantage.
Main rape is the act of attacking the opposing teams' main, with aircraft, when they own other flags. This also includes stolen aircraft, so you can't steal a US aircraft and attack US main, and vice versa, before last flag.
The exact conditions of main rape for each map are listed at forum.helloclan.eu/pages/bfv/
If a flag is white, it does not belong to a team. As such, if a team only has 1 flag and the rest are white, you can attack their main with aircraft. The best way to tell is to look at the boxes above the minimap, which signify the amount of flags that team owns; if there is more than 1, don't rape!
Flying over main, ramming with aircraft at main, capturing main with aircraft and killing retreating or attacking enemy aircraft, as long as they are above the main, are not classed as rape; only the act of shooting at the main itself constitutes main rape, which includes vehicles on the ground. This means firing heat-seekers towards a main, when you have no legitimate target in that direction, and therefore know that your missiles will hit the main or something in it, is main rape.
