FYI, Discord is a great way to get to know other players in the game and to participate in solid teamplay. Typically, Vmax, Paranoid, Turk, Ice and Yaki are on. Sometimes Hard Rice will join in.

If you don't know, you should. In game messages are a poor way of communicating. They remind me of this rule (texting meme). Before I got on Discord, I would be on the verge of rage dealing with Para (Paranoid). Then I got on Discord and my beliefs were confirmed, he's really funny.

Don't be shy. If those of us who are on Discord were gathered in a bar and you came in, I am sure Para would buy you a beer. I wouldn't as I am too cheap. You can join Discord and nobody will care that your English isn't that good. Your English skills will improve the more you listen. Nobody on Discord will yell at you. None of us will ask you about your family, etc.

I have found it interesting to learn from our friends around the globe. Para is in Brazil. Turk in Turkey. Vmax Australia. It is fun to ask questions about life where they are.

DaddyO mentioned about using the channels for Red/Blue. The problem has been that with auto-balance, it is a struggle to stay in the channel with teammates. It's not easy to switch, especially when some players come and go as often as they do. Quitting the map. Going into spectate. Etc.
