How to Repair Helicopters while in the Air

There are a 4 helicopters in BFV that can be repaired while flying in the air.

• 
  When flying in an ACH-47, it can be repaired from #6 position in the air, or on the ground, or on water. This helps your pilot and crew last longer by reducing damage from enemy fire. ACH-47 is a great combat helicopter when flown by a good crew. If one player constantly repairs it from #6, and the pilot knows how to evade enemy fire, this Chinook is invincible. You can capture several flags, shoot down fighter jets from the sky, blow up tanks, and gun down soldiers using a combination of four weapons on-board.

  When flying in a Huey Slick, two other players (besides the pilot) can simultaneously repair the helicopter while in the air or on ground. A good pilot using evasive maneuvers, and at least two other players repairing the Huey in-flight can together capture several flags and win the map for your team. There are only two side mounted machines guns on-board which will require two more players to fire at enemy but be careful. More often, firing machine guns from Huey Slick causes little to no damage to the enemy, and instead attracts unwanted attention from enemy gunships.. A fully occupied Huey Slick with 5 players can capture flags very quickly and move on to the next flag. Huey Slick is also a great troop carrier for missions deep inside enemy territory such as enemy mains.

  When flying in the Mi-8 Transport variant, the last two players on-board can simultaneously repair the helicopter while in the air or on ground. A good pilot using evasive maneuvers, and at least two other players repairing the Mi-8 Transport in-flight can together capture several flags and win the map for your team. Since this helicopter is not equipped with any weapons on board, it is vulnerable to damage from enemy fire. Therefore it is important for players to constantly repair it while riding on it. The biggest advantage of this helicopter is that it has it's own mobile spawn. So players can spawn on-board and bail out to capture flags, even from the air using parachutes (key 9).
  
  A fully occupied Mi-8 Transport with 6 players can capture flags very quickly and move on to the next flag. Mi-8 Transport is also a great troop carrier for missions deep inside enemy territory such as enemy mains.

  While flying in an OH-6 Loach, the passenger can constantly repair the helicopter. This helps your pilot fly the Loach longer by reducing damage from enemy fire. If one player constantly repairs it from #2, and the pilot knows how to evade enemy fire, this tiny Loach is invincible. You can capture several flags, shoot down enemy choppers from the sky, and gun down soldiers using the on-board dual rotary machine guns. The Loach's pilot can also use the right-click to target artillery fire.

Thank you for those tips. When I was part of a clan, we got beaten pretty badly in a match, when the opposing team drove around in a "BTR", full of engineers, repairing and capturing flags. It was very efficient (map with no aircraft).
