Shaun, I want to make sure I understand this rule:
Giving Away Player Positions:
If the player being compromised is actively playing, or if it's not the end of the map, the player will receive a 24hr ban. If the person had accomplished the feat of giving away a player's position multiple times, an addition of 2hrs will be added per position given away.
A couple of weeks ago we were playing a map. One team had captured all flags. Our team had one player left, Doen. There were well over 100 points remaining, probably closer to 200. Doen was not making an effort to cap a flag. It was one of the city maps where we know he likes to put out C4 then hide in some obscure spot. I'm not being critical of him or his play with these remarks. And this was a map where somebody switched or quit and I got pushed to the other team. I began posting his location. He got pissed and so did Piet.
Did I violate this rule? He was playing the game but he was making no effort to cap a flag. When I gave away his position, he began running along a wall away from flags. The other team finally found and killed him.
If this is a violation, then I am guilty. I'm not sure if there is a solution to this - the map was a long ways from being over and I think we had a couple of AFKs.
