Hey Skater,

Wouldn't the ban in question still be 2 weeks since Rex used his ban evasion to commit another (arguably more serious) infraction? It would be kind of like if someone violated parole and committed a murder while doing so vs. someone who had a DUI while on parole. Yeah, they shouldn't have broken parole, but one did a way worse crime in the process. I think that if people evade bans and play nice that's one thing, but if they evade bans and carry on with the exact same behavior that warranted the ban in the first place, it should automatically ratchet up to the next ban length, as Sellout originally did.

This is just, of course, my interpretation of our rules as they stand.

Deadly - IceSkater is referring to your question about ban length - he or SK will update it to end on Friday Aug 11, 17:22.

The issue arose because I wasn't able to correctly set the ban for 2 weeks originally so it was set to 1 week and I was going to manually extend it for a second week.

Wow, I have to say that I am very impressed with the new changes, response times, and efforts with this issue and other recent short term bans.

I appreciate all efforts from all of the admins and management from the top down ! These changes will go along way and I hope curb some of the minor issues we have had.

Rex was banned again on Lang Vei, August 6, at approximately 2:30 PM EST. His ban has been extended for 12 hours more, and he will now be unbanned on Sat, Aug 12 at 15:22:00.
