Guys, let me apologise for what happened recently. For the second time in the 9 year history of GOTCHA someone abused trust of all us here but most of all - made our beloved clan connected with people we never should be.

I wanted to thanks to all of the guys from HELLO admin crew for all that work towards making our game pool more friendly and fair. People like that must realise that that is their one-way ticket out of the game unless they want to play on GRIFFIN...

I see things going into right direction, for example lately enabled spectator mode brings more transparency into the game so we all can see and notice when someone is playing very suspicious. I'll also try to record people while eating on spectator now lol!

See you in game! ;)

There is no need to apologise. :)

When you invite people to a clan, you don't expect them to be playing unfairly. It's an old game, people have had time to get really good at it, and playing on the assumption someone is good at the game is much better than assuming everyone who plays well hacks. The clan is never at fault, and I doubt anyone will have any ill will towards GOTCHA for this. HELLO had one of their own hack a couple of years back, but no-one holds it against us. How someone plays is their choice, and their choice alone; we know you wouldn't knowingly accept someone who hacks.

You're welcome though. :) Spectator mode works great for this. When our former member was caught, we didn't have spectator mode as it had an exploit. Whilst I provided my own evidence, people disagreed and we had to use evidence provided by someone using hacks themselves in order to persuade people. Playing with that guy in my clan for over a month before being able to ban him, and then using evidence from a hacker to convict another hacker, was not nice in the slightest.
Being able to do all this like we have recently, using spectator mode, to provide concrete evidence one way or another is a welcome change, and if it means we can do better at keeping the gameplay as fair as possible then we will.

If anyone wants to report a hacker, we have a report a hacker section for people to confidentially post their information. No-one besides myself or Ice will see your post, so the hacker wont be tipped off and we can work from there.
As you can see from the most recent bans, we will end up catching anyone that chooses to hack, so just don't hack as you will end up banned permanently.

I'm gonna add my 2 cents.

1. Gotcha Clan is an illustrious organization with players whom I actually find challenging to play against. I can tell the overwhelming majority of your clan plays legit, this makes it even more fun to go up against. A single bad apple cannot taint your pool of qualified and honorable members!

2. You guys would have absolutely no way to know what Drew was doing. Short of remotely viewing all your clan mates desktops and even that wouldn't be fool proof. As SK said, hackers rear their ugly heads in any clan, despite this they are never the majority. (the one exception being UPEO which only had 2 members; one being a hacker thus making at least 50% of the clan dirty scumbags x) , but I digress)
