Hello.
I know there is already a topic for Win.10, but my question is the next;
Is there, when bfv works under Win.10, a way to read the "points", step by step what you must do to get it run under Win 10.
So plz.., step by step, so everybody can do it without difficult problems.

Hey,

It's really simple. You can check out the video I've posted here or read the step-by-step instructions below.
I'll add these to the main post.

[youtube]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b5JiXzW1Dwk[/youtube]
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b5JiXzW ... e=youtu.be

1. Go to bfv/10
2. Download one of the no-cd patches, either from gamecopyworld or google drive. The only difference is how they are saved but I will show you how to do it anyway.
3. Go to http://www.7-zip.org and click 'Downloads'. Then download and install either the 32 or 64 bit version.
Not sure if you are 32 or 64 bit? Go to 'My Computer' or 'This PC', right click a blank area and press properties. You'll see the following:
M2FsKoN.jpg

You can see if you have 32 or 64 bit under "System type"
4. Right click the downloaded no-cd patch (BattlefieldVietnamv1.2SinglePlayerMultiplayerNoCDFixedexeModFixedEng) and choose "extract here". This will extract the folders within.
5. Go to your BFV installation directory. By default, and on an English operating system, that will be in either:
Code:
C:\Program Files (x86)\EA GAMES\Battlefield Vietnam
Or
Code:
C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield Vietnam
6. Open up your extracted no-cd patch folder (BFV-1.2-nocd) and drag them across to the battlefield Vietnam directory. Make sure it says "Move to Battlefield Vietnam and not one of the other folders.
7. You're all done. Start the game up like normal and play. :)

The server will auto-ban you if your data is different, that ban has now been removed.

Assuming you copied all the files, just like in the video, you should be fine. Can you do a reinstall? Maybe it's another file that's causing the problem.

i started the "update" to Win 10 for bfv again.
I know that all levels are good, no corrupt or some difference with the "saved levels", all the same.
I started bfv, all seems ok. when you join the (hello) server, the map (login) is starting.
At the end, normally you come "in the map for playing", and now "data differs from server.
Ik have no idea where de problem is..
Did you started/tested the bfv in Win 10?
Prehaps other idea..??
Thx anyway.

I play BFV on windows 10 now. In the video above you can even see me join the server and I'm currently running windows 10. (the image also shows that).

The only time other people reported your issue is when they skipped some files rather than copying them all across. Can you send a picture of your BFV folder?

I downloaded the ISO, 1.2 and 1.21 patch.

Installed from ISO
Copied all files from 1.2 ZIP
Copied all files from 1.21 ZIP

I'm getting "data differs from server" message

Nope, didn't have that. I have now run the patch and applied the 1.21 no-cd.

But now I'm banned from server due to the previous issue: data differs from server
