Please consider testing vote/kick...

I would appreciate a test run of vote/kick on the BFV server. Abuse of it can be detected and you can take action against the offenders but I think it would help the game.

Over the last few days of play, I have observed Nagi switch teams. He likes to be on the US team but when they are taking their medicine, he switches to NVA. Players complain and, of course, there is no rule about switching teams and we know we have plenty of rules. When he switches like this, it would be an opportunity for those playing to vote kick him.

I'm gonna be in Las Vegas making lots of money over the next few days. Anybody have any sports LOCKS for next weekend?

This might also help when guys are main raping and no admins are on, like just what was happening when I left the game to seek assistance.

Abuse of it is likely to be all it is ever used for though. Don't like a player? Vote kick! Had your plane/heli stolen? Vote kick! This is likely going to result in anyone unfairly kicked not wanting to come back and we already have an issue with player numbers for now.

But this doesn't break rules. There are numerous players that switch team, some even at the start of the game unbalancing both sides before it has even begun. We can't have 2 sets of rules; those that admins enforce and those made up on the spot by players.
Extra-judicial punishments are just going to hurt the server even more as players join to a negative environment.

We implemented this policy for that exact reason; to provide players with a way to report players and have a system in place that punishes them.
It relies on evidence and in combination with the stats/server logs we can be sure that they did break the rules.

Another solution is more admins, and we are already looking into more candidates. You are welcome to suggest some that will help fill the gaps.
