For the past month give or take, anytime that I've played on Hello my ping (which is about 40 on average) spikes up to the 600-800 range and effects my game. This happens only here and happens often. (Even several times a minute. I never have any torrents open while playing so downloading can't be the cause. Should I try re-installing?

1 reason could be: running win 7 and compatibility mode is set to windows 7..set it to whatver else works for you.

another reason could be your internetprovider. i had this problem years ago. i could not explain in english exactly, but you have to prove the path to the server. go to DOS INPUT (CMD) and type "ping" and server ip or "tracert" and server ip. then you could see, where the ping explodes. tell this your provider. he could change the way to server.

I've ran the game on 8.1 for over a year now. Never needed to change anything.

With my ISP, there's no hope of them changing it for me.

Did you give trace routing a shot?

If not, there is information here: http://forum.helloclan.eu/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=4674

People have had this issue before but usually it seems to resolve itself after a while.

Your ping looks fine there?

You might have to wait until it spikes and then do the trace as 48 is close to what you stated as your average ping.

But I still get these glitching frames and connection issue pop ups through out the game.

A year has passed and I'm having the issue once again. I've followed everything possible in the forums to no solution.
