I can't join

I am not ban, but its been a year or two... since I played and when I connect using the IP it says "Failed to connect to server" But I can see how many people are in the server, and all of that. Anyone know whats wrong? Thanks!
oh and I was sitting in vent with GoDofDeatH, and he did not speak for 4 hours. I kinda wish he would of helped out.

First of all are you running version 1.2?
Secondly are you sure you typed the IP/Port in correctly? (8.9.30.43:15567)

I am running 1.21. Does that make a difference?
Yes I got that IP/port right.

You'll need to reinstall to get back to v 1.2 . People running version 1.21 can't join 1.2 servers.

It was before my time but I don't believe we had a reason (unless someone knows otherwise?) although it does appear there are more players on v1.2 .

Does anyone uses vent anymore? I kind of like to talk to the clans server I am on while I am playing, but I am not sure if you guys do that...

I don't believe anyone who plays on the server does, it just seems to be random people that come across it.
