I added it to the server a few times this week but every time I try and play it the server crashes and right now I have no idea why...

Maybe it was made for 1.21.I guess it contains 1.21 objects.
I will have a look at it tonight and check it.

Well heres the thing Max,

Suppose you have an Object called "Drug Box".

In a map editor you can add * Objects;

If you add an object that 1.2 doesnt have,supposedly Drug_Box,

The parser of 1.2 Runtime will try to recognize it, somewhat like this :


ArrayList<MEOW> objectParsed;

for(int obj = 0;obj < objAdded<ObjectsAdded>().size();obj++)
{
objectParsed.add(objAdded.get(obj));
}

when objAdded == null

An Exception is made.

If this Exception isnt , in english, "Treated" well, it will make the application close.
Somewhat like Windows do with BSOD.
Why do you think BSOD exists? Is an exception that happens and the Windows cant or wasnt PREPARED to deal with. And it has no other option but to close it.

OS's are very complicated but i just made it very simple here.

In this code, which is just a bad example, just shows that the parser cant recognize the object because it didnt exist at 1.2 version..

Its just a guess but anyway, could also be an error in the parser code...

Thats why A thing called COMPILER exists

Alrighty Cristian and everyone.
Im re-generating the surface maps and all the stuff.

Seems all fine.. I dont bealive theres an issue with the map but i will do it anyway.
I will upload it to a dropbox account when im done.

Its weird because if Cristian can run well on his 1.2 machine why wouldnt the server? :O

Ok i generate all the stuff again and i didnt get any error messages.. which is weird.
Anyway, try with this one, if it doesnt work, then.. its a lack of memory problem in server?

The map works fine for me (well before I stopped playing BFV for a while) Maybe SK did something wrong or the server has gotten too unstable and crashed at the moment.

The map works fine for me on SP just not on the server; I've also never had problems with custom maps on it before... The logs also are not very helpful so unless you have another map to try I will probably have to give this one a miss.
