Banned - Why?

Hi all,

My name is Lauri and I like video games. Few weeks ago I decided to reinstall BF:V and remember my good times of Vietnam, like in '04 . I was glad people still play this; but today the terrible thing happened to me - I joined the game, shot two charlies and then I was dropped to main game menu with the message ''BANNED FROM SERVER''.

After a few tries, I found this forum and now I'm here with the question:
Was it mistake and why was I banned?
I hope it was, so..unban me please.

My name was ''m.hotel''.

Yes, I did.I like to change names.
One of them is ''Man in White'', also ''Bell 205''.
But you may specify others by my key-hash, don't you?

I guess ban for the name ''m.hotel'' was a mistake?

I'm from Helsinki, Finland.

But why could it be banned?
But IP is dynamic, and I tried another one; nothing happened.
The server is still locked for me..

That's some kind of mistake!
Whom are you confusing me with?
I have never played on this server, came to enjoy last days of the good game.

And you even don't bother to register my ban in special topic.
In the ban list section all prisoners are punished with the evidences, indisputable facts.

What information about me is needed to fix this misunderstanding?

I hope this will be solved soon.

Hi, as SucceededKiller said, we have very strong believes that you are someone who is not supposed to have acces to our server. I'm afraid I cannot help you.

Jeez...you all are confusing me with someone...who is he/she?
But, isn't it against your own rules to ban people without topic/evidence?

You need some facts; in the ban-list I saw the guy who was hacking, but unbanned because no evidence!(player Drugs if I'm correct)

And now, you ban wrong person, and without any proof - you guys are sick, calm down your paranoia
Why do you suspect me to be ''someone'', and I even dont know whom?

If my connection sucks, and I have to use vpn - I'm automatically a banned person ...

Or post some facts, by the rules of your own forum.
These admins...lmao

When it is believed you are someone else, we would not have to make a separate topic for you as your ban is the same as the other topic. I also never mentioned your IP/VPN usage being related to your ban but you seem to realise that that is a problem.

Where shall we start...

1.You begin playing 9 days after we ban Good_Hash and 1 day before he tells us he has a new key.
2. You play and talk just like him both on the forum and in-game; although you did try to not talk in-game.
3. In the 19 days since you first appeared you have gone through at least 35 names and 13 IP's that spread across the world.

Also, please enlighten me as to how going through a third party server improves your connection? Especially when you decide to use ones that are, in some cases, just as far away from you as our gameserver?

I saw that guy in the ban list. But it's weird you blame me for the similar way of talk, isn't it?

VPN allows me to be on the web, literally. My neighbour has a wifi acces point, and he uses different free networks. Unfortunately, he is the only way for me to stay online, because my own connection may be lost for few days.

Let me now ask you for something. Can you please give me any link on the forum's rules, explaining how you can ban somebody because you don't trust him, and without any facts?
Please do it, because I have never met with such rude and ungrounded admin's actions. In any game.

First,even if you use your neighbour wi-fi, your ip-range would still be Russian.

Also, if he uses tons of vpn's/ips, then he must be a company.If hes an end-user, he wouldnt do that because it costs $.And the only people who use proxies, are the ones who want to hide.


Also,you were in server named as cryptographic master some days ago.And i owned you.

Lie Confirmed.
Even if he did used a proxy ( your neighbour), that would be a software proxy.Why? well because the ip changes so frequently that he wouldnt foward it everytime manually in the router page.SO its a software.
If its a software in his computer, it wouldnt affect other nodes connected to the wi-fi.

The chance that you are speaking the truth is 0.01%
And since hash was dumb, i think he would try to convince us of that lie.


Also, i wonder if you are using a free proxy or paying a service?


Too bad you dont have a private server in North America like i do to do that.

At first you used a VPN as your network was bad. Now your neighbour uses a VPN and you access his Wi-Fi? Also, I've seen your IP and name change from one map to the next so either he likes to change VPN a lot or you do in the hopes it will throw people off.

Rude and ungrounded? GooD_Hash caused problems on the server and the website, so if we have reason to believe he is back under another name I don't see anything wrong with banning them as a precaution as the integrity of the server is a lot more important.

I'm from Finland and I don't have an idea why ip changes so fast. Maybe he uses a handmade soft to control router settings, he is a good programmer; I don't know. Of course would be better to have a constant address, but changing provider only for one server...it will be empty in few weeks; no sense .
Maybe some day there will be good mod for ArmA, or even remake..
