Map Making Contest (12th March)

Hey guys! We are gonna have a contest where any of you can participate.
Create a map in battlefield vietnam. Then we will vote for the best map.
The map that wins will be played on the Saturday Event at the 12th march.
To create a map you need battlecraft vietnam. Which is a program you get when you install bfv. If you dont have it, download it here: http://battlefield2.filefront.com/file/BattleCraft_Vietnam_12;32015

Things to think about when making the map to win the contest:
>Its gonna have to be optimized for a Event with a minimum of 12 people and a maximum of 20 people.
>Were gonna vote for the map thats most fun to play, and most beautiful.

Thats all you need to know!, anyone can participate you dont need to be a hello member!
You can use maps you made a long time ago, contribute with your best project!
Reply with your contribution in this topic. The 1st March is the last day to leave in. Then a poll will be created.

May be you should make the dedline march 4 so everyone has two weeks to create their map...
Can someone design a map byrd makes on paint... byrd does not like using battle craft....?

Since as I have noticed Byrd knows history that map must be well thought-out.

Byrd just started making the map an hour ago... on PAINT.. it should be done on paint in 6 days or so...

Paint is 2D... How are you creating a map, that is 3D, with paint? Also, it's an image file, therefore any conversion(if at all) to the .rfa form will nullify anything done in the .bmp.

Its a bfv style map (topigraphical) therefore hopefully some one can be generous and make it for for byrd aftr byrd sends them the map, legend and desription

It technically is map, byrd however wont argue about it considering byrd does it to veer off topic... so plz stay on topic!

Here is a map I made about 4 years ago.

It has a huge race track for jeeps.
A race track for scooters.
A knife Arena
Tunnels in the Air
Tons of Choppers and Planes.
A few ramps and jumps for jeeps.
A few other areas for sniping/combat.

It has several server side mods, I don't remember all of the ones I used but here are some.

One Jeep has nitro when you blow the horn and I think another goes straight in the air and they do not take on damage.
Scooters fire RPG projectory when you blow the horn.
Choppers have radar.
US Engineer kit and NVA Heavy Assault Kits are Superkit. Run Fast, and teammates can spawn on you when using your rifle.

I haven't messed with it for years but thought I would enter it in the contest.
It might need some touching up if the mods don't all work right, it's been awhile.

It is not a conquest map, just an event/training map for my old clan.

FINE byrd will post his image as a jpeg! byrd has the more clear file on bmp

*byrd has map description alond with this but will not post it
now byrd needs some one to make it for him
This map is big (island 1200m, 1500m, or a whopping 3000m long depending on the scale), but is still playable with a 12-20 people
-Ment so that only the skilled will survive
-great for PBR or tango races
-custom map with historical vietnam accuracy..
- maybe byrd should have put mopeds in...
