BANNED? OK, I'VE BEEN PLAYING HERE FOR YEARS UNDER THE NAME "OUTLAW". WITHOUT ANY PROBLEMS. I PLAY WITH RESPECT TO OTHERS AND AM HERE TO HAVE FUN. THERE ALWAYS SEEMS TO BE SOMEONE COMPLAINING THAT SOMEONE IS CHEATING OR HACKING OR SOMETHING AND IT ALWAYS SEEMS TO BE JUST THAT. ALL I WANT TO DO IS PLAY. SO WHEN I WENT TO LOG ON AND PLAY THE OTHER DAY TO FIND OUT I HAD BEEN BANNED IT WAS QUITE A SURPRISE CONSIDERING THAT NO ONE HAD GIVEN ME ANY WARNING OR ANY EVIDENCE. I HAVE SEEN THE POSTED VIDEOS AS EVIDENCE AND IF THAT IS ALL I HAVE BEEN BANNED FOR THEN THOSE VIDEOS ARE MY EVIDENCE HERE AS WELL THAT IN FACT I WAS NOT HACKING. BUMBLEBEE SAID THAT I WAS LOOKING THREW WALLS, I COULD HAVE BEEN DOING ANYTHING. LIKE TRYING TO READ TEXT OR ANYTHING. THIS IS MY REQUEST TO HAVE MY BAN REMOVED. I HAVE ONLY POLITELY AND RESPECTFULLY PARTICIPATED ON HELLO AND ONLY WISH TO CONTINUE TO DO SO.

I purposely put my body in a wall at Hue (under different user name) and instantly someone said I hack. Just because you stop at a wall or tree and then kill someone doesn't mean their hacking. On the part of the admins that ban you, I am sorry for the misunderstanding. When they discuss over this you should be unban. If not it will be the discretion of the admins banning people at random.

Clearly you do not understand hacks.... YOU CAN NOT SEE HOW THE PERSON HACKS. Looking through objects? Hell you guys wanted to ban someone cause it looks suspicious. Its all speculation. If one person says cash hacks, and then if I kill someone else and then they get mad and says cash hacks. More and more people will start to think I hack. Outlaw is no hacker, yes looks odd but banning someone from speculation of a video? That is no proof. I can record my self doing the same thing and if I didnt have my cash gaming tag, you would all think that person is hacking. The thing is, you cant catch someone hacking like having 3-D spotting just from watching in third-person POV and ect. You can catch people glitching easy. But hacking, highly unlikely. When one person gets killed it turns into call of duty. I died from lag, hacker, glitch, and more shit that is just lies. Stop accusing people of hacking without having visual evidence that you can see clearly of using a exploit. Its annoying hearing everyone complain about hackers. I've seen hackers in the past that actually hacked and you could tell having a score of 800 with 200 kills 0 deaths.. this shit is tiresome to me. Babys complaining about insulting each other which one way solves it, dont use chat or ignore the person. People crying hacker because they died suspiciously to them. Its always the SAME SHIT.

well cash this is the only means we have of ridding the server of cheaters, ppl cant use hacks to catch hackers... so all we can do is

suspect players who weve played with for months if not years,
record them,
post video on hc site,
let the community debate this part and that part,
then hopefully the bfv leaders should come to some kind of consensus,
then take action,

admittedly i dont often record players because nothing comes of it and my freetime is valuable.

its clear calling someone a hacker is an insult, so maybe we should start giving warnings,kicks and bans for ppl who insult other players in this way. Thats one way of fixing all the crying on the server.. cash i know its the same stuff over and over , but it just shows that what is going on isnt really working and the system needs to be restructured.

Ive been bouncing ideas around with another admin recently about new methods of dealing with problems on the server. One idea was we can make a council of BFV players- who can be on the "anti hacker team", and its their responsibility to review posted videos, and come to a group decision if a player should be allowed to continue to play on the server or not. The team can be made up of hello AND non hello ppl but primarily they would NOT be admins, or bfv leaders..(but ofc could work with help from hc admins) so the community can get some democracy by having more of a say in relation to cheaters/hackers.

I'm going to post this exact post here, as well as in the Unban Request topic.

Ok.. I asked people many times in the past to include in the post a detailed overview of where exactly the player is hacking in the video.. now we have to watch the video and find out for ourselves where Bee sees them hack. Since the player has now made a unban request, we have to further examine this video. First of all, the Youtube video is no evidence since we do not know if that's (outlaw) or not. Might just be a namefaker.

In Bee's post, he said "You can clearly see how he's looking through walls", so I conclude that the 'obvious hacking' is at around 4:00. First of all, we can see that the sound is out of sync, but when he shoots a LAW, we can see how much the difference is, so for footsteps I'm going to adjust the time to when he really heard the sound. The sound is 3 seconds too soon in the video. At 4:37, the start of this 'looking through walls', I can clearly hear footsteps. Since they are in front of him, and we are hovering a few meters behind him, he heard the footsteps earlier than we heard them in the video. Which means that the kill at 04:45 is completely legit.

Now, for the 'looking through walls'. I assume that's at 05:15, but he's not looking through the wall.. he's looking at the hill, the wall is on his left. Because, for anyone who payed attention, at 04:48 an NVA soldier walks right past him, into the hills. We cannot hear his footsteps, but you can see how close that soldier is... (outlaw) defenitely heard his footsteps. After a few seconds, in which the NVA soldier walked away and the footsteps probably faded away too, he looks around the wall, to see where the soldier went. As you can see on 05:26, he's shooting at the same angle as the angle that he was 'looking through walls' before. Unless he's got a really, really good hack, I do not think he can shoot through walls, which means he's shooting at something, which also means that he wasn't looking though walls before. Which is why I do not think he was hacking. For anyone not using a headset in this game, when you hear something while using a headset, looking in the direction of the sound can make it easier to determine exactly where it's coming from. Update your hardware and you will find out that I'm right.

Now there are people in this community who are totally obsessed with this 'hacker' problem, they want to see people banned, and they will reply that I am corrupt for not thinking this player hacks. However that's not how this community works, we are not going to ban people just to show that we do something about hackers. We only ban people with evidence. The fact that he's not hacking in this video doesn't mean he doesnt hack at all. It does, however, mean that this ban is illegitimate. I also think people are going to draw the wrong conclusion, saying we 'do nothing about hackers'. But again, the fact that we do not ban someone who does not hack doesnt mean we don't ban people who do hack. If I look in the banlist in the RM, I see 17 ban entries with stated reason 'hacking'. That's clear enough, I think.

i am 100% shure that he isn't hacking u can clearly hear the players comming to him. sound ppl!!!
i say unban him unless u comme up whit som realy proof.
