Why are there sites that appear to be dial-up and DSL on your tracert? Those would certainly increase ping.

After reading this i'm not sure i want to help..But heck i'll take a chance

Many times when this occurs could be of something as stupid as compatibility mode..it does happens...or somthing else just as stupid.
You say your ping was usually 180 (wich i suspect u were happy with) then 220 lately 580 These pings u get are all with bfv server with the same pc and you havent moved. No matter where u live and where the server is u should still hav 180 ping as before. You did say "It seems im the only with that issue"
So theres no apparent reason why ping suddenly changed.
Check and clean the wire connection (joints/unions) from pc to isp outdoor box in pole. Temperature changes and humidity creates some shit in there. Increasing the diameter of the drop (wire from outdoor isp box to house) may help in cases with extremely high speed internet. Unless its fiber.
As i said it sounds stupid but Its happenned before and that was the problem.
As for changing the route as far as i know forget it.

Yeah im calling my ISP today and emailing GameServers as well.
By the way, i forgot to say that this ping issue started after those kids attacked /Hacked hello server. And Hello leader fixed it. Somehow it must have affected my ping.
Anyway, im calling ISP today , lets see what happens.

Funny how people complain and whine because they internet is not going as they are used
i have often a crap connection, ping raises as hell, but well, sometimes you just have to deal with it, internet can never be perfect..
you can call the ISP, but i wouldnt advice you to call the gameserver, lol, because you dont host there anything, its only for customer
and yes, i noticed some lag aswell at the hello clan server.., seems that someone found a new exploit... -.-

Emailing gameservers is unlikely to do anything, you are connecting to the gameserver, not the other way around. Your connection should take the fastest route to its target and I have a hard time believing going to Spain and back is the fastest method. Ask your ISP why your connection to Chicago is being routed to Spain, there is nothing gameservers can do to help. The fix we got them to do should not affect anyones ping at all, the fact that it only seems to be yours is further evidence that it is something on your part.
