its not free but its cheap if u ask me, less than $20 when i bought it.. www.minecraft.net its kinda like bfv with scenery and water and hils etc, but u can interact with the surroundings. Eg use a bucket to take water from a creek , to then pour it where u want to make, a water feature, a small creek, a well, put out a fire/lava, make ponds or to move mobs along thro ur killing device.. the list goes on. I like it becuase there is alot of variety in the game, you can mine for resorces to use in ur buildings, or make man traps, collect food, or make a farm, hunt n kill baddies (mobs), look at what ppl have built, hang out with friends and work in groups, even pick your own skin or edit it... lotsa ways to have fun ingame.

yea i play both. hard decision. but if i had to choose 1 game to play for the rest of my life? it would be minecraft. cuz u can literally build anything. the possibilities are endless
