Event Management - Bringing back the events.

Hey guys, as you might know we've now initiated the hyped BFV Re-launch. And one of the most important parts of its success are the Saturday Events. We've talked about how we're going to bring them back, bouncing ideas back and forward, and finally got to an answer.

The answer is a so called Event Management, consisting of several Event Managers who take full responsibility to make sure the Events happen happen every Saturday on time. The way to make this work is to set up a list with the managers in order, and the first person in order has the full responsibility. If he can't make the event, the second person in order makes sure it does. And if he can't, well I think that at least 5-8 managers should have us covered.

A brief example, here's a list:
1.Marcus
2.Don
3.Jack
4.Daniel

The Event is about to take place on a Saturday night as usual, Marcus is first on the list. Don and Jack do not have the responsibility to run the event. But marcus has a hockey game he's going to, the first and only thing he does is to contact Don, and move the responsiblity over to him. Don now has the full responsibility to make sure the Event takes place, but he can't make it either, so he should move it over to Jack. However Jack is not reachable, so Don has to skip number 3 on the list and contact Daniel. Daniel is free on the saturday evening, and leads the event.

We need Event Managers, so if you think that you could lead a Saturday Event, post a reply to this topic. With a prefered spot if you want too. We'll make sure to put the most enthustiastic, representative & weekly active persons as the number 1, 2 and 3. I guess we should set a few criterias that a Manager should fulfill. You should have a mic, be able to invite a lot of people, take care of the event in a professional way, et cetra.
Feel free to reply with more criterias.

The list of managers will then be available on the bfv/event page

yeah i wouldnt mind to help you guys manage the events if i could i would be slot 3 because i do go to my dads alot on saturdays but i can still manage the events and i would love to do it :D

i will try to invite alot if people and i have a mic

Not true, we do that a lot of the time, but what we need firstly is Event Managers, or there wont be any events to film.
