M35A1 Nancy

In some maps the us get the quad 50 cal (m55), a stationary vehicle, this a sitting duck. While the NVa get the ZSU, or btr. Instead of having a quad fifty cal, the the US have Tte M35A1 Nacy in its place? It would make it comparable to the zsu, and give the us a equal adversary to zsu. It would also be more easily refilable than the M55. Could this be done in maps: Operation Flaming Dart, Fall of Lang Vei, The Siege of Khe Sahn, Operation Hastings, and Operation Game Warden Operation? It would give the us a more adequate AAircraft denense, and is more compareable to the ZSU.

Replacing a 50 cal with a nancy is not a good idea, because it would mean that people use the US AA as transport ( like the MUTTs)

The problem is that when the game starts someone will drive off in the Nancy, then bail and leave it unoccupied at a flag, meanwhile the US main gets raped. The quad at least provides stable protection at the base (I am thinking of Game Warden especially). A good gunner on the quad can keep helis at bay from long distance. A nancy will be mostly used like a jeep. Perhaps just adding a nancy at main would be a better alternative then replacing the stationary quad? Neither the quad nor the Nancy is all too difficult to destroy on their own.

i agree with deadly hippo, that would make it so the us would still have an alternitive if someone ran off with the nancy

I would say, do with what you have.. they didnt do special demands like this in war.

In the warthey hadbattlions of nancys, unlike in bfv where only saigon 68 has a few.
