Main Bases in BFV

In BF1942 on invasion maps, the ivading teams main base was un captureable, because the goal of the maps were to invade and eliminate the other team, not for the team being invaded to immeadiatly know of the invasion and invade the invading teams only base, and capturing it, thus giving the invading no chance for anything except the chance to be unrelentlessly raped. In BfV you see these cheap players who sit next to an ammo box droping 0 sectimebombst. And in BF1942 you rarely saw the other team raping the uncaptueable main base because there was no point in it cbecause you could not take the main providing a much fairer chance for th invading team, as well as more fun.
Byrds proposal: making the mains ithe following maps uncapturable/ exstrememly difficult to capture (set the time to capture the base to like 10 hMurs or something. In additon to that spreading out the soldier spawns to cover a broader area, thus nmaking hardto rape periois.

Many people like taking main bases, with tunnels or in secret missions. It also makes the game interesting when the US doesnt have a mainbase. I think they should remain capturable.
Also replacing the ZSU with a nancy would mean that after 20 seconds the US air defence would be gone because someone would use it as transport.

I would hope this for an event. Because I play for fun, not for realism. I like it the way it is.

Its not ment to make it more realistic, its just no fun getting base raped and having the oppenent take your only base before you get a chance to do anything.

Dumb idea. Ruins the game. Its good as everyone usually switches sides and so taking main stops this.

Its captureing all the enemy bases is the the goal for invading teams on invasion maps. And my poroposal was making the invading teams main, impossible or more difficult to capture. In Bf1942 they had it this was on ivasion maps, acually they did iit on most maps, thwit this the amount of times either team was victoriuos was about around 1:1, alouth this might cause the maps to longer, tickets dropped faster in bf1942, when the invading team control more than 50% of the bases, than in bfv.

Taking the main does not stop team switching. People can teamswitch when they want to if they want to be on the Nva they can be, anyone has just as much a right as your do to be on the team they like. Not everyone hates team switchers either, and everyone team switches. It goes for everyone, if you were on a team that you didnt want to be on, you would try team switching, so dont b**** about team switchers when everyone does it.

People dont really care about winning as long as it doesnt end in a big rape. Also now it is 50/50 winning I think, and it is very easy for US to defend their main, all they need is a good huey or f4 pilot , or just someone who stays at main to guard it.
