New Event?: Air Raid

Durring the Vietnam war the us would constantly be excuting aircampaigns. Three of the most famaous being Operation Rolling Thunder, Operation Linebacker, and Operation Linebacker II.As an event heres what Byrd proposes:
-The map would be either Ia Drang Valley (perefered because a large area of flat land outside of the map can be used as runways), or Operation Flaming dart
-The US would have an Airfield with A1-Skyraiders of both types, C-47 Spookys , F-4 Phantom IIs, and A-7 Corsair IIs. Each plane respawning up to 3 in the air at once. An area outside of the map, just apove of the largest lake in IDV would serve as a perfect airfield for this.
-All the other areas will be riddled with lots of NVA vehicles of all types (including aircraft in airbases) that only spawn 1 time, when desroyed they will be destroyed for good. These will include Tunnels on top of indtructable objects, such as biuldings, supply dumps, stategic points, and bridges
-There will be 2-4 teams
-Each team will have up to three minutes to destroy as many targets as possible. The team to destroy the most targets, wins
-Only aeroplanes can destroy targets.
-The nva team will be empty.
-On Ia Drang, the us airbase wll not be a spawm point, instead it will be filled with nva vehicles.

The point is to do this somethime in the future, byrd had the idea so he posted it before someone else could. Its not that hello needs more, but more optoins, and more options for the future do help.

I agree with Byrd's idea for the air raid. What if we merged his and mine? maybe have NVA bots that are down there too? see if the little sonsabitches and live long enough :twisted:

No. Byrd dissagrees. Coop wont work b/c you will have NPCs taking the us aircraft, using a-7s and zsus, plus you would have to feconfigure the map paths (npc's lines of travel) for that.
Byrd will suggest annon- compteitive mode
-Five of each aircraft can be spawned at any time
-target Vehicles respawn
-Players just fly around and destroy whatever they want.
-Friendly fire should be turnned off.
