Battlefield Vietnam 1.2 NOCD problem

Hi!

A long time ago, in a galaxy far far away I've been playing BFV with a NOCD and version 1.2 patches applied and it was working well. Then I had it reinstalled for some reasons, and I can't get those patches to work now. I've applied a 1.2 patch over just installed BFV and I can join Allmaps server, but when it comes to NOCD patch it throws error "Wrong version do you want to update". The patch has the following files:

• ...\Battlefield Vietnam\BfVietnam.exe

• ...\Battlefield Vietnam\bfvietnam.org

• ...\Battlefield Vietnam\Mods\BfVietnam\Mod.dll

When I restore back to the original ones everything's fine (the game requests a CD and connects). I've tried installing v1.2 over NOCD and reverse, but no success. I don't want to play with a CD, how do I fix this?

In the main menu, does it say you have patch 1.2? Also are you sure you are trying to connect to 1.2?

Yes, in Options -> Custom Game it shows i have BFV v1.2

Well I'm trying to connect to Hello Allmaps server, it's running 1.2, right?

Thank you for your reply. Sorry, I already have a legal copy of the game, but 'probs' still do exist.

You really are stupid. NO CD patches means that no CD is required to play. It doesn't mean its an illegal copy of the game.

Also, it's against EA's ToS to use of No CD patches and I would advise not talking about it on a public forum as the webmaster *could* be held accountable for it.

Does it make any difference in what order do I do all this? Which patch should I apply first, v1.2 or NOCD? I just want to know before I run through that 4CD installation again

You need to apply the 1.2 patch first then add the crack.
