Anyone seen this? I just discovered this today.
Neill Blomkamp (district 9) was meant to make an Alien 3 reboot where both Hicks and Newt are alive and technocrat Wayland Yutani get their hands on an Alien and weaponized it. Ripley would come back to face another queen in an uber stronger power loader kitted with Alien armor. and weaponry ... but alas it never happened. Years later Neil made this short from Oats studio starring Sigourney Weaver. Parts of his Alien 3 ideas are in this if you look close enough. I dont know why some hollywood studio hasnt bought it and made it into a feature length version (This one is 21 mins).
