Windows 7 sound problems

Unfortunately i didn't find a category where this topic would fit in better, but due to many complaints i hope this
thread won't be deleted.

My problem is that i don't hear any F-Button communications with Windows 7 installed.
Does anyone have a solution?

That is normal, i have this problem too with windows 7.
You can only hear "Follow me" with it and "Cover me" and thats all.
But i heard that you can solve it.
Just wait till someone post it.

ive had the same problems but since it dosent really effect the game i havent said anything

Ok. THsi is how you solve it. Go to computer>Local disk C>Program Files(xwhatever)>EAGames>BFV>right click on the BFV Icon>down to properties>click on tab compatibility>select Windows98(me) or xp service pack 2.
If you have an Icon on your desk top you can skip the first 4 steps. Hope this was helpful!

I do: Right click on the Battlefield vietnam APPLICATION ICON>Properties>compatability>windows 98> Save

Maximum is right, just run the program as <Windows 98/ME> its one option.

It "worked" out for me in the Windows 98/ME mode, but now i remember why i hated those F-Button communications.
People overuse it and it gets really annoying. Another thing is i had to reconfigure all my settings and now i can only play
with a resolution of 1280x960 (on a FullHD screen). That's a real pain in the a**.
I guess i will waive those communications and play with a higher resolution instead. That was a lot more comfortable in all
respects.

Nevertheless thank you for your help! It worked halfway.
