I'll try to sumarize my points so I can expose your mistake:

1. Fibonacci, Rick and I are all SPANIARDS.
2. I typed in spanish to adress to them because my message was directed at them. I knew they were both going to be the only ones who would understand me, otherwise I would've typed in english.
3. Spanish from Spain and Spanish from Latin America can completely vary its meaning. For example, in Spain, the word "coger" means to catch (sth), grab (sth) or pick up sth. In a wide majority of countries in Latin America, this word literally means to fuck. Our language is full of this examples, and it's like almost two different languages.
4. In Spanish, like in every other language, CONTEXT can change the meaning of a word or expression. For example, "hijo puta" can be an insult (son of a bitch), but it can also be used to express admiration or to congratulate someone (¡Qué hijo puta!...). In Colombia, "marica" means DUDE and they use it constantly, no pejorative meaning. Like I said, CONTEXT is everything.
5. In this case, the word "maricones" was not in any ways used in a derogatory meaning or context. In this case, the word maricones had the goal of poking/encouraging rick and Fibonacci/Saul Goodman to kill Huey because as many of you know, they are both two outstanding pilots.

What is worse, they both even told you in game how you had misunderstood my words:

This is to remind you that we don't just go around making drastic changes without the input of the community. It's been in the server announcements throughout it's trial period (although now removed due to keeping it active here on the forum). "Admin" is not a flyboy as you so elegantly worded it. "Admins" did not implement this change without due thought.

It is not anyone's fault but your own if you refuse to visit our forum and just read. You don't even have to log in. But please make sure you actually know what is going on before ranting about how I'm / we're ruining the server. A server, I should remind you, that has been around since 2008 - managed IP address moves - managed onslaughts of attacks etc. etc. It's okay, you don't need to thank me or any of the staff for giving you a platform to complain on and complain about.

Of course I couldn't forget about one of our own admins who states the term is indeed offensive in nature in that context. Considering they have a far better understanding of the language than I do, things are pretty grim for your explanation.

With all of the above, do you not see what I see? A very common denominator that is your "maricones" word. Even with the context it's still off.

Additional note:
It is not our policy to warn before kicking anymore. Warnings may be issued at the Admin's discretion, but it is not required. You can thank certain elder players who always used to complain about players - especially veteran players "who should know better" - being warned and "slapped on the wrist" for this change - which was made sometime ago now.

As I said in your ban topic, we won't tolerate racism in any form. I don't care what context that piece of chat came from, which I read quite full and well. But if you want to start bringing races etc into the chat and combine it into such a sentence, then it's simply not on. That would have resulted in something else all on its own.

If I was as opinionated as you have claimed, you would have been given a 24hr ban straight off the bat. But that was not the case. I only banned you for a round. Allowing lenience.

It seems you haven't read any of my remarks.

Maricones in this context is not ofensive or derogatory. The most accurate use in this case would be a vocative used in a camaraderie envirnoment to gain attention from the other person. Did you see Fibonacci or Rick getting triggered by me saying that word? Not at all, because they understand the true meaning in that context. More like the opposite, they tried to make you realize how wrong you were, yet you decided to ignore them.

Then, using chatbot to justify your point (which is basically google search engine with makeup), I don't even know what to say, man. I could argue about how politically biased it is but no, I won't. Hey Mav, regardless who's right or wrong here you are a long time player of this game/server and you should understand that Ice and all -[HELLO]-Clan staff would be disappointment by your comments in game. Everyone has the right to state their opinion but the forum is the place for that not in-game chat. I was playing with you on Friday and Saturday and I came very close to issuing a warning/kick for chat-spam. Ice is the opposite of arrogant, Hes a very kind, generous, and reasonable person so from my point of view I'd say you owe him the apology.
