Here is a brief video of the Air To Ground AGM 65 Mavrick missle. It is a fire and forget missle that is optically guided in the first two virsions. An excellent choice for taking out a battle tank on the run. At 40 seconds into the video the delivery methoud is described. ( special delivery )

The Isralies were fighting either the Syrians or Palistininans years ago and they both had the same russian tanks. The I sralalies took the warheads out of the Mavrick's and just slammmed them into the enemy tanks which typically just diabled the tank. The Isralies would then go and rob parts off of the diabled tanks.
